9 Coral Clipart
Today we have a fascinating collection of Coral Clipart! There are several illustrations from an early Natural History book of this amazing sea life in red, which are fairly hard to find. Also included are black and white versions of the same remarkable drawings. To round out the set, we have a great Sea Sponge card with beautiful typography. I think they would look fabulous transferred onto pillows or towels, or perhaps framed and hung on a wall for some instant Coastal Style Decor!
Vintage Coral Clipart
Isn’t this a fabulous Vintage Red Coral Image! This one was scanned from an antique print that I believe came from an old Children’s Encyclopedia. Shown above is a marvelous Coral Specimen with bright red branches, growing on top of a gray rock. I was so excited to find this one, as Red Coral graphics are quite rare and generally not easy to find!
Here we have a splendid Coral Specimen. This is one of several from from a very early Natural History book as mentioned in the introduction. I’ve included the original black and white versions of these in the section below. This one looks similar to a grouping of rugged deer–like antlers to me.
Here we have another fine Coral Drawing. It is from a the same Natural History book as the one above and below. This one is especially interesting for me. It has a tree– like appearance with a sort of Desert like terrain in my imagination. I suppose that it could be viewed on a large scale as an Evergreen type of tree. Oh well, what matters of course is what is in the eye of the beholder, right?!
Pictured above is the smallest Coral Illustration in this group. This one looks more like tree limbs or twigs I think of a small plant or tree. There are of course infinite possibilities of shapes and patterns as with so many other plants in nature.
Brain Coral
Here is the latest addition to this collection. I believe this one is a Brain Coral and you can definitely see why it’s called that!
Antique Coral Clip Art
Here we have the first black and white Coral Specimen from the early Natural History book. I’ve included the coral colored version in the section above.
This is a black and white version of the Natural History Coral Drawing from the above section. Stunning!Shown above is the Coral Clipart Illustration from the above section done in black and white. This lets me see even more detail, I believe. Which version do you like best?
Old Sea Sponge Ephemera
Here is a cute Vintage Sea Sponge Image! Shown above is a fun Sea sponge, sitting on top of a little note with a quote written out on it! The beautiful typography reads, “Sponge out what you will of the old; Make room where you will for the new. But do not efface from its corner place, a heart that feels often for you.” Such a fun piece!
I hope you enjoyed this beautiful curated collection of Coral Clipart! You might also like our Natural History Seashell Prints HERE and our Best Ocean Images HERE.
