Halloween Party Favors for Adults
This weeks crafty project is some Halloween Party Favors for Adults. More specifically they are cute little skeleton matchbox, perfect for lighting your Halloween Jack O Lantern! Halloween is a time for tricks and treats, friends and family. It’s also the perfect opportunity to celebrate with your fellow adults by throwing an adult-themed Halloween party. But don’t worry – it doesn’t have to be scary!
To create this project I just used some regular kitchen matches that I purchased at the grocery store. These are the larger sized boxes, they measure about 2 3/4″ by just under 5″.

I’m so glad you all liked my little project! You can use these images for other projects too, in case you don’t need decorative matches!
Nancy,
Krylon makes several good ones, you can find them at Michaels. Also, I remember one of my readers telling me about a sealer that they carry at Walmart, I think it was called “Clear Coat” or something along those lines. Anyway, she said it worked great for this type of thing, and was really cheap!

Karen- Great idea, thank you so much for making this! I’ve saved several matchboxes for decorating in this fashion and this has motivated me- hooray! As we heat our home with wood I could have hundreds but I have resisted saving too many, thank goodness!! I would like to know what sort of clear sealer for inkjet do you use? I usually use one of the spray-on protective coatings for charcoal/pastel drawings that I buy in art stores. (I’m reluctant to name brands; don’t know your policy on that!) Maybe other readers have had recent successes? Maybe there is a product that I don’t know about. Thanks again for all your creative ideas and inspirations… xxx, Nancy
