How to Draw Men
People Drawing Step 1
Step 1: Let’s start with the Man’s hat. Draw an upside down “U” shape with a flattened top.
Step 2
Step 2: Next draw an indentation for the nose on the right side and continue that line downward. Also add a line across for the bottom of his hat.
Step 3
Step 3: Add a circular shape for the brim of his hat. Then sketch a C shape for his ear… you can draw some guidelines if you like to line it up, just make sure you erase them afterwards. Add a curved line for his chin and 2 smaller curved lines for his moustache.
Step 4
Step 4: Next we will add some additional details for his face by sketching a single slanted line for his eyebrow and a long narrow circle, that is filled in, for his eye. Create the collar of his shirt by drawing a long line from his neck with a letter “M” looking shape at the end of it.
Step 5
Step 5: Create the band for his hat by adding another line just above the brim of his hat. Add a short slanted line that rests on top of his eye. Draw in his hairline. And add his lapel as shown above.
Step 6
Step 6: Nearly done, just a few more details! Fill in his moustache and beard. Sketch in some hair on the back of his head and add in the additional details for his ear. Add a curved line at the top of his hat for the pinch. And lastly draw on a tie under his shirt collar.
The only thing left to do now is to color in your dapper looking fellow. Go grab your markers, Crayola crayons, oil pastels or color pencils, or whatever you have on hand, and finish your artwork masterpiece! Let your creativity go wild and use whatever colors you like. You get to decide!
