15 Edwardian Fashion Images
Today we have a stunning collection of Edwardian Fashion Images showing beautiful women’s fashions! Featured below are Vintage Photos and Illustrations of stylish Edwardian Fashion including grand Edwardian hats of the times. The Edwardian period in Britain, Circa 1901-1914, was known for elegance among the wealthy with art and fashion. The reign of King Edward VII was 1901-1910. The onset of World War 1 in 1914 essentially ended this period in history. I hope you have fun using these Edwardian Fashion pictures in your Junk Journals or other Vintage Style Projects.
Edwardian Women’s Fashion Images
Next up we have an oh so elegant Edwardian Ladies Fall Fashion Plate Image. Here we see three styles of outerwear with spectacular hats. These three fashionable Women show belted short coats over matching skirts in green, gold, and navy. The fancy coordinating Hats add so much charm to their outfits I think. I adore their stylish High Button Shoes. The hat on the lady in the center looks like it has Bird’s Wings on it … quite a curious look! Two outfits appear to be heavy woven fabric while the gold one looks to be soft velvet with a matching bag draped over her arm. Perhaps it was meant to be worn as evening attire to a more formal event.
Here we have another lovely Edwardian Fashion Plate Illustration – Ladies in Fashionable Coats! Displayed are three more styles of outerwear with brimmed hats. Wearing belted short coats with matching below the knee skirts in navy blue, green, and burgundy, these are some fashionable women! Wearing marvelous large Hats and stylish pointed toe Pumps, they’re ready to face the cooler weather in style with these gorgeous matching ensembles. Just look at all the lovely details on these outfits; so many buttons and pretty trims, with some of them trimmed in fur for extra warmth. All of the women have short curly hairstyles.
This one was scanned from a Circa 1917 Catalog, from New York, in my collection. The two pictures above it were actually from the same catalog. The illustration is of a lovely young woman wearing a burgundy dress. The Dress is made of Velveteen and has embroidered touches on the bodice and pockets. It also came in Black, green and blue and the price was $10.98. I’ll take 2 please!
Featured above is a wonderful Edwardian Fashion Image from a Circa 1910 Ladies Fashion Magazine! This one reminds me of one of my favorite shows, Downton Abbey! The fashionable Woman is wearing a marvelous large Hat decked with flowers. Her stylish Dress features Polka Dots with a fancy cut gray over dress from bodice to hips. She’s even got a pretty Parasol! I love that this one is signed.
This stylish woman is wearing a yellow 2 piece outfit. The skirt has stripes that match the trim on the top. She has a pale green parasol as well and a pretty floral hat!
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here’s another charming picture. Above we see 3 very fashionable ladies. I love all of the buttons on their outfits! This one is Circa 1908.
This is a marvelous Vintage Bicycle Girl Illustration! Dressed all in creamy White, the young lady is in true Edwardian style Fashion. She even has a White Hat and her Bike is White as well. She must be riding at a fast pace, as her long blonde hair is flowing with the breeze.
Vintage Edwardian Fashion Lady Photographs
Pictured above is a wonderful Old Photo showing another well dressed fashionable young Edwardian Lady! She’s wearing a lovely White Lace Dress and Dark Fancy Hat with White Feathers on it! If you look closely you can see that the photo has been tinted slightly. There is just a little bit of Green trim on her Dress.
Here we have an Old Photo of an Edwardian Girl! Dressed all in White with a Big White Bow in her Hair, she is such a lovely young Lady! The dress is so classy and elegant looking. I wonder how long she had to sit for this photo.
Featured above is an Vintage Photo of three Edwardian Girls! This is an Antique Photo Card showing some very stylish looking young ladies! I’m not sure if these three are Sisters or just Friends, but they look pretty pleased to be dressed up in their best outfits, hats and all, for this fun photo! I love the striped coat!
Edwardian Women’s Hats Images
These are three Fancy Ladies Hats from an Edwardian Fashion Catalog! The Black and White Hat Illustrations are spectacular. The top hat has a large Ostrich Plume. The middle one has a giant Bow and is more of a Bowler type or style. The framed bottom Hat Drawing is Oh La La. It has three rows of plums with a topknot that resembles a bun. So fun!
Black and White Edwardian Dress
Here we have a couple of pretty Ladies from an Edwardian Fashion Catalog! Fancy blouses and long skirts with a shorter skirt overlay. They both have loads of buttons. I wonder if the long skirt was detachable? It would be nice to sew them this way! I wish I had a date for you guys on this catalog, but it’s missing the cover, so there is no date to be found. The prices for the blouses were $1.49 and .98 cents. The skirts cost $3.98 an d $4.98! Oh to have those prices once again!
