11 Circa 1905 Garden Flower Illustrations

Today we have a simply gorgeous collection of Circa 1905 Garden Flower Illustrations! Botanical drawings and art are typically engravings. Our collection is beautifully drawn and show even the tiniest details of the stems and leaves. Antique prints are a lovely way to decorate your home. Each of these prints is large enough to frame as is, and would make a handsome focal wall. The garden flower images are nice to use in your Mixed Media, Garden Craft, or Collage Projects! I think they would make an interesting floral junk journal cover or cards. The entire collection could be used for a Floral junk journal if you like. All of these flowers came out of a Circa 1905 Garden Book that was given to me by my friend Wendy Piersall, who also has a love of Vintage, and is an amazing Coloring Book Artist!

Lovely Botanical Flower Images

Blue Asters IMage

Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here we have a  Showy Blue Daisy type flower! I think they may possibly be Asters? This is a tall, elegant flower with blue petals and bright yellow centers and a cluster of large ruffled leaves at the base.

Vintage Yellow California Poppy Botanical Image

This is a stunning drawing of a Yellow California Poppy Botanical Image! The Golden Poppy drawing shows a solitary flower on a long, thin stem with four cup-shaped yellow petals and a brilliant orange center. The flower and bud have a silky, crepe paper like texture.
Today I’m sharing this Vintage Beautiful Tall Blue Flower Image
This botanical illustration is a Beautiful Tall Blue Flower Image! The vintage picture shows an elegant plant with showy blue flowers on tall thin stems. The flowers resemble an orchid to me with drooping centers of yellow and black.
Vintage Red Poppy Image
This is an Elegant Red Poppy Image! A large red ruffled petal poppy is central to this antique drawing. The leaves are dusty blue-green and have pointed edges. The bloom looks almost too big for the stem.

Shown above is a charming Pink botanical picture. According to the book this one is a Persian Cyclamen. Lovely!

Penstemon FlowersHere is the newest edition to this collection. Shown above is a pretty Pink Penstemon flower, just bursting with blossoms on a light green stem!

Vintage Lush Red and White Anemones Botanical Graphic!

Above we have a Lush Red and White Anemones Botanical Graphic! Three beautiful anemones with lush, frilly greenery are illustrated in this vintage botanical graphic. One is bright pinkish red. The second is white with a red bottom. The third is open displaying a red, purple, and white coloration around a black center.

Here we have a Tall Stem of Showy Red Flowers Botanical Image! Snapdragons maybe? This tall, skinny botanical illustration shows large, colorful red flowers with yellow accents blooming up the base of the stem. The beautiful stem has small buds above the lush flowers and a few curly leaves below.
Vintage Large Red Rose and Bud Graphic
I just adore this Spectacular Large Red Rose and Bud Graphic! Our old botanical drawing shows an amazing giant old-fashioned red rose with loads of ruffled petals. The deep veined leaves are on a single thorny stem. One beautiful bud stands above the full bloom.
Feverfew FlowerHere is the latest addition to this collection. This next one is called a Showy Feverfew. I’m not familiar with that name. It’s quite a cheerful looking flower!

Unusual Garden Flower Drawing

Vintage Stately Crown Imperial Flower Botanical Image

We round out this amazing Vintage Garden Flower collection with this Stately Crown Imperial Flower Botanical Image! This elegant, enormous, reddish-orange Crown Imperial flower stands tall in this botanical illustration. The red petals form a spectacular, umbrella-like bloom with a bunch of green leaves on the top that looks like a crown.

    I downloaded some of these new ones I haven’t had before. That Crown Imperial flower is stunning! Imagine having these all grouped in areas around your garden? They definitely would be unique and unusual. So pretty!!
