Free Halloween Printable Label – Trick or Treat Bag
Well we are a getting close to Halloween now, so I thought I would revive this post! This is a fun Free Halloween Printable Label for Trick or Treat Bags! I originally designed and created this one back in 2009, so I thought I would update it a bit and bring it back out into the light of day, since it’s been hidden waaayyy back in the archives! It was so popular back when I first posted it that, it actually got some media attention, I think it was Reader’s Digest online, that featured it, and also Parent’s Magazine too, if I’m recalling that correctly. It was a long time ago and my memory is not quite as reliable as it once was!
Anyway, it’s a fun little Halloween Printable, that can be use to slap onto a bag at the last minute… if you need a quick makeshift trick or trick bag for the kids or grands. It would also be perfect to use on party favor bags for a Halloween party. Creative folks may even want to use it in their crafty projects, like Handmade Cards, Collages, Junk Journals, Pillows and more. I hope you can find a use for it!
I created this label using a vintage Halloween image from this site. The moon and stars background is from an antique playing card. You’ll actually get 2 labels per sheet, to save on paper! I’ve put some simple instructions together to show you a really quick and easy way to make these labels.
The super easy instructions for making the Free Printable Halloween Label are below:
Step 1: Print out the Pdf file by clicking the link above. (Note, unlike the one in this photo, yours will have 2 labels side by side, so you don’t waste the label paper) I used this white shipping label paper from Avery which makes it super easy to peel and stick. I like easy! But of course you can use plain paper and glue as well.
Step 2: Cut out your label. I used a paper cutter with a decorative edge, just to give it a little extra flair. Regular scissors or decorative edge scissors would work too!
Step 3: Peel and stick the Label to your bag, or glue on if you used regular paper. (The bag I used came from Michaels Crafts, it’s just a small plain black shopping bag, but you could use whatever you have handy.) If you want a fancier bag, you can embellish with glitter or ribbons or whatever you want.
Now you’re done! You have your own DIY Trick or Treat bag or bags, already for Halloween. Now go get some treats!

Karen, yet another “love it”! I’m picturing printing this on some iron-on fabric and making either an apron, a pillow or putting it on a sweatshirt (yeah, I’m one of those). Or maybe all 3! Thanks again for all of the great graphics.
