12+ Hummingbird Images
This is a beautiful collection of Hummingbird Images! Who doesn’t love these gorgeous tiny birds?! They almost look like fairies the way they seem to magically hover in the air. Such fun to watch! Included in this set are several full color pictures, as well as black and white vintage Hummingbird Clipart Drawings. There is also a series of charming Hummingbird Nest Images. Several of these cuties have Eggs and there is even one with cute Baby Birds in it. These would look so beautiful in Junk Journals, or Spring Craft or Collage projects. All of the images are 300 dpi high resolution graphics.
Hummingbird Clipart
I believe this one is called a Red Tailed Comet. Such a fancy looking bird with his very long brightly colored tail. He seems quite proud of it as he shows it off from his tree branch perch!
This Hummingbird clipart drawing has gorgeous green and blue feathers. The feathers look as though they might be iridescent. We seem to have caught him mid flight, perhaps heading for the center of his favorite flower!
This next one is a beautifully illustrated picture of 2 Hummingbirds and a Swallowtail Butterfly on a Hollyhock Blossom. Such a lovely picture!
Here we see a lovely tiny feathered cutie perched on a pink Morning Glory flower. Charming!
Hummingbirds with Nests Images
This one coordinates well with the picture above it. Shown here are two Hummingbirds next to their nest, they appear to be a mother and father. Inside of the nest are two adorable tiny baby birds. It looks like it’s dinner time. So sweet!
This next one was scanned from an Antique German Print, I believe the print may have come from an old children’s encyclopedia. Shown above are two beautiful Hummingbirds, perched on top of their tiny nest with two little Eggs inside of it! The birds have marvelous brightly colored feathers in green and red. The male bird is quite fancy! A great looking Natural History picture.
This next gorgeous print, shows 4 very colorful fancy looking Hummingbirds. They appear to be next door neighbors as each pair is perched on it’s own snowy nest on neighboring branches. Perhaps they are related. This one was illustrated by artist Hector Giacommelli, who was known for his beautiful Bird paintings!
This is one that was originally posted quite a few years ago, I have cleaned it up a bit more and reposted it. This one is a circa 1808 Natural History Print, how amazing is that! This fabulous print features 2 Red Throated Humming Birds, with their little nest and 2 tiny eggs. How charming!
This is a lovely little tiny nest created by one of these tiny birds. This one is empty. It’s a very detailed antique picture from an early Natural History book.
Hummingbird with Flowers Images
These are some fun early Bird Images! Shown here are 4 wonderful Hummingbird Clipart drawings with Roses! These are from a very old book, Circa 1828 and are most likely printed from Woodcuts, so they are more of a primitive looking style, but so charming! I wish I owned this treasure in my collection, however I am lucky to have quite a few images from this book…
(Lisa, Me & Emily)
due to a trip to D.C. with my girlfriends Lisa (our email Customer Service specialist at TGF) and Emily (My Biz partner)! We had such a blast perusing over rare books at the Library of Congress and making some copies of things to share here on my blog, including those 4 primitive birds above! And Lisa, who is a whiz at genealogy, found some exciting info to add to her family tree! I’m so blessed to have these ladies on my team here at TGF!
This is the newest edition to this collection. Here’s a lovely Spring picture with our tiny bird enjoying some pretty pink flowers!
I hope you enjoyed this little behind the scenes peek of our graphic finding adventure! And I hope you enjoyed this collection of lovely Vintage Hummingbird Graphics and Hummingbird Nest Images! You might also like our Best Vintage Bird Images HERE.

I have photographed many of these little gems and they are one of my favorite species of birds. I have been to LOC but never knew you could photocopy books. Gotta go again soon (hopefully). Tfs! PS: lately I am seeing images on the home page that seem to be reposts? The comments are often few yrs old but at least this one has recent comments. I used to see new posts (not reposts) almost daily;, have things changed or am I missing something?
