9 Vintage Flower Shoe Images
Today we have a delightful collection of Vintage Flower Shoe Images! I have quite a few of these shoe with Flower cards in my collection, and just love how fun they are. Below is a marvelous display of colorful Victorian Shoes filled with lovely Flowers. The vivid, vibrant colors are so appealing! Shown are Antique Floral Shoe Trade Cards and ever so Cute Flower and Pet Shoe Pictures. It might be fun to create a project using several of these together for a Junk Journal! I think the entire set would make a fun DIY art collection for a large Walk in Closet!
Vintage Flower Shoe Images
Featured above are some charming Vintage Shoe Images! We have one reading, “Mercerie, Soieries, Rubans,” and another with writing removed. The lovely shoes are actually an old French Advertising Trade Card! I love the pale aqua blue color of this one along with the pretty violets and white flowers inside of it. This one is my favorite. I think it is particularly lovely, and the detail is incredible! The advertisement is for a haberdashery and silk ribbons.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. This delicate white slipper holds a bouquet of pretty blue Forget-me-not flowers. Charming!
Antique Flower Shoe Trade Cards
This is a very cheerful advertising trade card for a Sewing Machine Company! The card shows a bright blue shoe, filled with pink and blue flowers and two cute yellow butterflies! There is a tiny calendar card with a blue string tucked inside as well. I imagine that The Davis Sewing Machine Company must have given these calendars to their customers that year! How fun!
Above is a very pretty little antique trade card that features a shoe filled with sweet daisies. It seems to have been transformed into the perfect vase! I especially like the bright blue ruffles that trim the edge of the shoe. It appears that the fabric is velvet. I suspect that a fancy lady must have worn these!
Pictured above is another wonderful Victorian Shoe Graphic!! This bright pink shoe has the most beautiful ruffles on it. It is filled with a gorgeous pale pink Cabbage rose. This card was used as an advertisement for a shoe store in Perth Amboy, New Jersey called Martin Peterson. The ad says, “Dealer in Fine Boots and Shoes.”
Here we have another delightfully pretty Victorian Shoe Image! A lovely bright purple color with a matching fancy bow on this shoe is just splendid. I can just imagine a beautiful lady dancing in these! Spilling out of it are some delicate looking white flowers. Such a decorative looking card!
Cute Flower and Pet Shoe Pictures
Shown here is the companion piece to the sweet puppy card above. A wonderful deep purple ladies shoe with gold accents has the most precious Kitty inside!! Embellished with a red rose and some tiny white flowers, this one is simply adorable!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection! You might also like our Best Flower Images HERE or our Regency Costume Images HERE.

Hi Karen,
This doesn’t surprise me in the least bit with the different styles, colours, ruffles, bows and laces. The detailing is supurb. I would imagine that the care for these shoes would be painfu especially velvet ones. But nonetheless, they sure knew how to design shoes in those days.
Thanks so much for finding these and sharing them with us!! Every Friday always has some really special surprises for us!
Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe!

I have to confess, Karen, that I am not a fan of the Victorian flowers-in-shoes graphics. For some reason, they give me the heebie-jeebies!
But THIS graphic is gorgeous! Maybe it’s the simplicity of the shoe, or the beautiful color, or both–or as Dana pointed out, the overall color harmony–but I just love♥ it!! Thank you! xoxo
