12 French Wreath Transfers
This is a fabulous collection of French Wreath Transfers! These are some of my favorite transfers that I created over the years all pulled into one post. Most of these I created myself, using pieces of vintage images, and then there are a few that are much closer to the original. Included are Wreaths with Bees, Wreaths with Butterflies, with Birds and more! Many of them also have French words on them as well. These have been used by my readers in so many beautiful projects over the years, it’s been really fun to see how you guys have incorporated these into your Home Decor and DIY projects.

This gorgeous Transfer Image dates to the 1880’s. It’s an antique Advertisement for a French Patisserie, or Pastry Shop. There is a gorgeous wreath, beautiful Bee Silhouette and even a Crown on top. So charming!

I searched many times over the years for a French Typography Printable with the word “Jardin”on it. Jardin being French for the word ‘garden’. I decided it was time just to make something myself! In order to create this, I selected a very early antique wreath and added a charming bee in the center. Next, I added the word “Jardin” and the date, 1914. I distressed the text a tiny bit to give it more of an old world feel. I’ve created two versions, a front facing image that’s suitable for printing directly on fabric, decoupage etc., and a mirrored option that you can use for transfers like Iron on, Citra Solv, etc. for any of your DIY projects, like signs and furniture pieces!

This is another French Printable Transfer for you to use in your projects! I paired up a lovely wreath from an old French journal with a cute Bee image! Since there’s no wording on this Transfer, there is no reverse image. The printable is sized just right for transferring onto Flour Sack towels, or you can use it for pillows, tote bags, placemats, or whatever you like!

This is a pretty French Wreath with a Butterfly Silhouette or Papillon (Butterfly in French) in the center! The frame is made of two leafy branches crossed at the bottom. The word “Papillon” is in a ribbon label below the butterfly. I’m really liking how this one turned out and I hope you guys do too.

Above is another Wreath with a Crown Transfer Image. I’ve left the inside blank! Again, since there is no text on it, there’s no need for a reverse image, so there’s only one version. I think this would make cute place mats or a table runner.

Above is a new French Transfer Printable. This one comes from an 1840’s French Letterhead. It’s a lovely romantic wreath and I’ve added the word Paris to the center of it. I love the slightly primitive nature of this older wreath! I’ve sized these so that you can use them for your DIY projects, like pillows, towels, signs, garden pots, or even furniture pieces! I’ve included a front facing option and also a reverse option.

Here we have a stunning oval Flower and Ribbon Frame with an advertisement for a business in Lyon, France. The above French Typography Printable was submitted by a lovely reader named Sandrine! She found this in an old Paris Archive and is generously sharing it will all of us. I cleaned it up a bit and resized it, so that you can use it for your Transfer projects. I’ve again created two versions, a front facing image and a reverse option.

Above are the French words “Bonne” and “Nuit” Transfers. The words mean “Good Night” in French. Wouldn’t that make a cute gift?!! There are so many ways you can use these Printables. The reverse ones are perfect for iron on transfers and the other ones can be decoupaged. These would also be fun to use on pillow cases or a pair of Nightstands; can’t you just picture them on the front of the drawers?!
