Jardin Printable Grain Sack
Recently I had a request for a French Typography Printable, with the word Jardin on it. Jardin, being French for the word Garden. I’ve actually searched many times over the years to find something original like that, but so far haven’t come up with anything, so I decided it was time just to make something myself! In order to create this, I pulled together a very early Antique Wreath, and added a charming Bee in the center. Next I added the word Jardin and the date, 1914. I distressed the text a tiny bit to give it more of an old world feel. You can use this to make your own homemade Grain Sacks! I’ve created 2 versions, a front facing image that’s suitable for printing directly on fabric, decoupage etc. And a mirrored option that you can use for Transfers like Iron on, Citra Solv etc.
I think this would also make a pretty kitchen towel. Or maybe some Place Mats or a Table Runner? This would look fab transferred onto Linen, great for Flour Sack projects too! Of course you can use it for any of your DIY projects, like Pillows, towels, signs, table runners, tote bags and gorgeous on furniture pieces! The possibilities are endless so have fun!

Hi Karen,
One day would it be possible to teach us how to put our own printables together?
Karen Watson says
Hi Misseni, I’ll have to think about that one. That might be tough, since I use Photoshop, which is expensive and not everyone has it.
If you have a software program that you like, you can use what you have. Just add an image and then type in your words. The layering can get a little more complicated, but you could start with just one image, and the words, to make simple printables. I hope that helps!
