5 Lantern Images
Today we have a fun collection of Lantern Images! Below is a set of very interesting Lights that function in a variety of ways. Some images are in color and others in black and white. There are Christmas versions, Paper versions, and one used for camping. Lanterns are still used for outdoor night lighting and indoors as well, but in most cases today they are enjoyed for their decorative effect. Some of them have quite intricate designs and have a nice artistic quality to them I think! All are nice pictures to use in your craft or DIY Projects. How about a Camping themed Junk Journal?

Isn’t this one fun?!! Featured above is an image from a 1920’s Party Supply Catalog. It is a cute lightweight Japanese Paper Lantern. I think it would be especially nice to use on Cards or Scrapbook Papers, but it would also be fun to string multiples of these together to use in your designs!
Shown above is a fun little image that was on an old advertising card for Coats Thread! The card shows two charming Silhouettes of Children with Paper Lanterns. They are playfully holding hands and apparently having lots of fun with their Lights. I think I see a smile on the face of the child on the right.
Old Fashioned Camping Lantern
This is a fun Free Vintage Camping Lantern Image! Scanned from a Circa 1920’s Hardware Store Catalog, the one shown above is a classic looking picture of an old Camping Light. Made of metal with a glass insert, I assume that this is another Oil based one. It surely has many different components. My guess is that this one was pretty advanced for its day!
