These are some wonderful Botanical Seed Pod Images! Each one of these lovely plants has green leaves and Brown Seed pods on them. Some would work well in Autumn themed projects I think.
Botanical Medlar Fruit Image

Featured here is a lovely picture of some brown looking seed pod on a branch full of bright Green Leaves, the pod is actually a Fruit known as Medlar, and has been enjoyed since Roman times! The plant is related to Roses, you can see the fruit looks a bit like Rosehips. This Botanical Illustration was scanned from an amazing Antique Botanical book from Germany, in my collection. The book is Circa 1890’s, there are all kinds of wonderful Flowers and Plants in it.

Today I’m sharing this Vintage Leaves and Split Seed Pod Botanical Image! This magnificent botanical rendering of a plant with a reddish-colored stem and dull green leaves, has greenish seed pods tinged with burgundy that are splitting open. The leaves are large and oval in shape with prominent veins on the upper surface of the leaf and a raindrop on one. The stem rests on a cloudy blue and cream background. So nice to use in your Garden Craft or Collage Projects!

 In this beautiful botanical painting, Beech Tree Pods are bursting from a large round green husks, protected with hundreds of wavy short spines. The center of the top pod is white with a reddish tinge. The large greenish leaves have finely toothed edges and beautiful deep veining. The background is a cloudy blue sky.
