Above we have a School Boy at a Chalkboard with His Dog. This sweet illustration depicts a cute little old fashioned schoolboy in his adorable sailor outfit. He appears to be teaching his dog how to draw on the large school chalkboard. The title “Pets and Playmates” is displayed in red letters at the top.

This cute little School Boy comes from an Antique Nursery Rhyme book! He’s all ready to study with his Book, School Slate, and Kitty Cat by his side! I’ve created a printable PDF so that you can print this one out and frame it, and a smaller size image that can be used for your art.

These children appear to be playing school! There is a little girl in a pink pinafore who has taken on the role of Teacher. She is teaching the other little boys and girls. They look quite entertained by it all.

Isn’t this a sweet image of Girls Whispering at School Picture? This image was scanned from a Circa 1920 Children’s Rhyme Book. This beautiful illustration shows a group of young children in a school room. A few of the girls seem to be telling each other secrets! I think it would be fun to color this one in!

Here we have a Back to School Classroom with Teacher and Students Vintage Image! This is a cute little “Back to School” Graphic, showing a teacher with four Children and a big Chalkboard! There is a math problem on the board. This one came out of a 1912 Women’s Magazine.

This is an old Chalkboard Clipart Graphic or School Slate. Isn’t it darling?!! It was used as an advertisement for a theater. It’s one of my favorite all time images.

Vintage School Bell Image

This is a Vintage School Bell Image! Shown above is an old Black and White Image of an Antique Iron School or Church Bell. This one was scanned from a Circa 1900’s Hardware Store Catalog, from my collection. According to the catalog this was actually made of Steel Alloy, but it looks like Iron to me!

Vintage Back to School Clip Art Photos

Here we have a fantastic Old Photo of School Children. This is such an interesting picture; if you enlarge it you can see the expressions on their faces. Many of the boys are smirking or fidgeting, and some of them are blurry from moving around. The girls however have such somber expressions on their faces and are sitting quietly with their hands folded neatly. The school teacher looks quite young, and you can see several photos of Abe Lincoln on the wall next to her. The sepia tones on this one are nice.

Aren’t Old School Photos the best?!! This one has a nice frame card surrounding it. Everyone is dressed in their finest clothes. They are in front of an old brick schoolhouse.
