12 Old Fashioned Swimsuit Pictures
Today we have a delightful collection of Old Fashioned Swimsuit Pictures! Featured below are postcards and photographs of people dressed for a frolic in the sea. They all wear bathing fashions of bygone days. There is a beautifully hand-tinted color photo. Then we have several sepia toned Bathing Beauty pictures. The Swimsuits are just gorgeous. I especially love the footwear. I wish I had some of those lace-up slippers today! We have some Victorian Bathing Styles and a few group pictures for you. All are nice to use in your Summer Collage or Card Making projects! I think a Bathing Beauty Junk Journal might just be in order, don’t you?
Old Fashioned Swimsuit Picture Postcards
I just love these old Bathing Beauty Photo Postcards! I think this little lady is particularly cute with the bright green Scarf on her head … and check out her Shoes! If you look closely you can see that they have little Anchors on them. So fun!
This lady appears to be quite content to be heading for the beach in this vintage bathing beauty postcard! Check out her shoes!

Featured above is another Vintage Bathing Suit Photo! This is an Antique photo of a lovely Lady in a Stylish looking Bathing Costume! This Bathing Beauty is wearing a scarf in her hair and some lace up slipper type shoes. She’s standing in front of a Painted Ocean Scene, complete with a Lighthouse and all!
The girl seen above in a Vintage Bathing Suit Image is so cute! I just love her sweet smile. This is an Antique photo of a lovely Lady in a fun Bathing Costume! It must be quite chilly because she’s wearing a sweater over it!
Here’s a fun one for you. This lady is all decked out in her Swim Dress with Plaid Sash and accents, she’s also wearing a Bathing Cap and lace up swimming shoes! She looks like she’s having a fabulous time at the beach, doesn’t she?
This bathing beauty is posing with her adorable little Dog. How sweet!
Vintage Swimsuit Pictures
Here is the latest addition to this collection. I think this one is so fun with all of the Bubbles floating around her!
Old Timey Bathing Suit Group Pictures
This appears to be some sort of Beach Bathing Beauty Contest with the Winners posing in their swimsuits! There are four girls in the photo. The bathing suits are really different…some very short. The girl with the smaller trophy does not look too happy. She must be the runner up! I love those knee high stockings the best. How fun to make up stories about this one!
Bathing Suit Clipart
This is a Retro Cute Girl in 1920s Bathing Suit Image! In this black and white picture, a woman in a vintage bathing suit sits on a dock with a sail boat in the background. The outfit is a sleeveless, one piece with long shorts, knee high stockings, and headband. This one was scanned from an old Stockings Catalog. Although why anyone would want to wear stockings while swimming, is beyond me! Haha.
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Old Fashioned Swimsuit Pictures! You might also like our Best Ocean Images HERE.

Hi Karen,
Wow! What a difference from today’s fashions!
I can’t believe the hats and shoes they wore! (I had no idea about the different beach style shoes!)
And some of the bloomer styles of suits — OH MY!
I found this collection so fascinating, so unique and the women still looked classy as ever!!
Thanks so much for sharing these with us!
Have a wonderful day!
