3 Old Photos – Vintage Cowgirl
Today I’m sharing 3 amazing Vintage Cowgirl Photos! These are all Old Real Photo Postcards that I have collected over the years. You don’t find these too often anymore, so I feel lucky to have a few nice ones in my collection. Some of these were posted by me originally quite a long time ago, and I have re-scanned the images at a much higher resolution. So if you have these already, you may want to download them again to get the higher resolution version. I’ve grouped them together in a collection to make them easier to find as well.

This one I got a few years back. I remember I was away at the Blogher Conference and when I got home, and this cutie was in my mailbox! These Cowgirls photos aren’t easy to find, so I was so happy to get this one. Shown is a wonderful sepia toned photo of a girl dressed like a Cowgirl. I’m not sure if she’s an actual Cowgirl of if she’s just wearing a costume. Either way I think she is adorable. I love her fringed skirt, the big bow in her hair and the classic bandanna around her neck.
I believe I picked up this old photo card at a local antique mall, when I lived in Maryland. This lady looks quite smart with her menswear style outfit. She’s wearing a long tailored skirt, a crisp white long sleeve shirt, and a scarf tied like a man’s tie around her neck. And of course she has a wonderful Cowgirl style hat!
This next one is my favorite! It’s such an Amazing Vintage Cowgirls Photo! This one is quite a find, with the women posing in a group like this!! This fabulous Antique Real Photo Postcard shows eight Cowgirls all dressed and ready to ride! I love the sepia tones on this one, and I love how spunky these ladies look with their leather Cowboy boots! They look like they are having a blast! Apparently they are at a Rodeo, I’m not sure if they are participating or if they just got dressed up to watch. According to the caption they are at the Triangle Ranch Rodeo. I think these would make a really fun card to use in your Collage or Mixed Media Projects or as a part of a Western Style Junk Journal! You might also like this Picture HERE with a similar theme.
I’ve kept this last part on this original updated post, because this was such a fun memory for me, even though several years have passed since then. This is what I said at the time … “And while we’re on the subject of Cowgirls, I wanted to give a shout out to Ree Drummond of The Pioneer Woman! It was such an honor to meet her at the Blogher Conference, in the Land O Lakes booth, she’s just as sweet and lovely in person as she is on her blog! I’ve been a fan of hers for a long time. As a blogger, she’s been such a huge inspiration for me! Thanks for the photo Ree!!”
