Practice these and then create a whole bushel of Pears if you like. You can print out as many as you want to share with your Family, Sunday School Class, Classroom, Creative friends meet up, Adult Daycare and more. Now let’s get drawing! For Non Commercial Use.
How to Draw a Pear Step by Step
Kids or grown ups alike can follow these simple steps with this fun Drawing guide! I would recommend creating this with a pencil, as you can erase if you have any mistakes. But you can always draw over your sketch with an ink Pen or marker when you are done, to define it some more. You might find our Drawing Supplies for Beginners Post HERE useful. Pear Drawing Step 1
Step 1: Let’s draw the body of the Pear. Sketch a long oval with indented sides. It will be more narrow at the top and wider at the base. Leave a little opening at the top for the stem.
Step 2: Next we can sketch in the stem. Create a tall narrow rectangle extending out from the opening that you left in the previous step. You can angle it off to the side at the top, to make it look like it was cut from the branch.
Step 3: Now we will extend the stem downwards a bit so that it appears to be coming out of the middle top section of the Fruit. You will also draw 2 simple leaves coming out of the top of the stem.
Step 4: Almost there! Just a few more details. Add a little curved line under the base of the stem and add a slightly curved line to the center of each leaf.
The only thing left to do now is to color in your ripe juicy Pear! Go grab your markers, Crayola crayons, oil pastels or color pencils, or whatever you have on hand, and finish your artwork masterpiece! I colored this one in with light yellow and bright green leaves. But you can let your creativity go wild and use whatever colors you like! You get to decide!
