4 Polar Lights Images
Today we have a splendid collection of Polar Lights Images! These lovely images were all scanned from a Circa 1870 Science Print! The print is from Germany and the title is Polar Lights. There are actually four pictures on the print and I’ll be sharing them all below. These prints are truly unusually interesting to me because of their unique, almost surreal colors, light, and design. Magically looking perhaps sums it up. They display has an almost foggy and mysterious sort of look I think. Beautiful and forbidding at the same time as the lighted sky combines with a cold, desolate environment. All are nice pictures to use in your craft or DIY Projects. They would all be fun for your Collage or Card Making projects as well! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Pictured above is an interesting Vintage Polar Lights Picture!! This particular graphic is called Northern Lights. The peachy colors of the light are really interesting. At the apex there is an almost star-like configuration. I don’t think there is anything else out there quite like this illustration. It is quite imaginative, and is such a splendid looking scene!!
Here we have another Antique Polar Lights Image! The amazing Vintage print has such a beautiful Aurora Borealis Lights. I don’t know about you, but I can actually feel the cold, freezing air in this one! It is truly magnificent. The combination of brightly lit sky, water, mountains, and barren landscape provides a complete display of the natural environment. Amazing!
Featured above is another beautiful Aurora Borealis from this interesting Polar Lights Clip Art Series! This one is another phenomenal looking scene that is really unique and kind of “eerily beautiful” I think! The multi-layered array of colorful lights seen here are almost “other- worldly.” I love the pinkish, green, and blueish gray colors and the way they layer. The lower sectors of light seem to almost touch the mountains.
This Polar Lights Image is one that is especially intriguing in that it seems difficult to decipher what is going on here! The sky on this one from the series is quite unique. A giant dark blue-gray moon-like hemisphere rises above the horizon, with bright streaks of light shooting high into the sky. This is nother cold looking landscape, but in this picture we see people actually walking across the icy surface. I suppose they must be natives to the land, perhaps Eskimos or Indians. There is a fire in the lower right corner with smoke blowing across the ice. Are they going on a hunting expedition, or are they moving to a new location? I don’t know, but it definitely energizes the imagination!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Polar Lights Images!! You might also like the 25+ Images in our Celestial Archives HERE!
