Printable Vintage Dictionary Pages
Today I’m sharing these 5 Printable Book Pages from an Antique Dictionary that dates back to Circa 1886. I know that many of you guys love to make crafts using old Book or Dictionary pages, but you may not have access to the real deal, or you may not be able to bare cutting up old books in order to use those pages. So I’ve scanned some nice ones so that you can just print these out and use them time and time again. These old Ephemera pages have yellowed over time and have the perfect aged patina to give your handmade projects some Vintage Style!
The first page starts with Snuggery and ends with Sociable, I’m so in love with the word “Snuggery” now after reading this, although I was not familiar with it before!
The next page starts with Prayer and ends with Precedent. I thought this one would be useful for a Journal, you could write your favorite prayer on top of it, with colored markers.

I thought it would be fun to offer one with pictures on it. These tiny illustrations are such little gems. Do you see the cute Mermaid in the center?!
And lastly we have Mesmerist to Metal. Ah, the possibilities with this one! Perhaps you will print, or stamp, something Mesmerizing on top of it, or go with an Industrial style look and focus on the Metal aspect.
I hope you enjoy this set of Vintage Printable Dictionary Pages! So nice to use in your Craft, Junk Journals, Mixed Media Art or Collage Projects! And if you make something with these, be sure and submit it our Submission page HERE. We love featuring the work that you guys do

Thanks Karen – I won’t download these as I have a whole big dictionary to myself to use as I wish – one volume of a Websters that a dear friend bought for me in a garage sale!!
Blessings

Thanks for the pages! Snuggery is such a funny word, it might explain why, back in the ’50s/’60s English pubs had a room called The Snug which was were the women would drink. I always wondered why it was called The Snug!
graphicsfairy says
It is a funny word Jacq 🙂 I had no idea about the Snug, thanks for sharing!

Thanks very much for these pages. I have had a few projects in mind using dictionary pages as part of the backdrop & didn’t have any. I was thinking I needed to make trip to the vintage stores in the area to find some, but you saved me the trip. Very nice of you 🙂
