Queen Bee Picture
Today I’m sharing this Queen Bee Picture as well as an Iron on Transfer Printable! This is such a popular motif, both now, and all through the ages. This type of design originated in France. And I think it is the perfect image to add French Flair to your DIY Home Decor projects! I created a silhouette version of this lovely design and I hope you will find it useful. I think it’s one of those designs that can be used over and over again on all sorts of projects. You could even create matching pieces for your home, to tie things together nicely.
Here she is… our lovely Queen Bee! I created this Design from two very old Engravings, including an antique Bee image and an old Crown engraving. I digitally collaged the two together, and then turned them into Silhouettes. It has quite a regal feel to it, don’t you think? I’m offering you two different versions of this one, as I think it would be so useful for many different types of projects. You can grab the jpeg version that you see above, by right clicking on it with the button on the right side of your mouse and then saving it to your computer. This one is great for smaller crafts, collage, Mixed Media, Junk journals and that type of thing.
I’m also offering a PDF Printable version, that is a little larger. You can print the PDF right out onto Transfer Paper if you like to use for Home Decor projects.

I did not make a reverse print of this one, as there is no need with out any text on it. It really doesn’t matter which direction it goes in. That simplifies things a bit too for you guys hopefully. I think this Queen Bee design would look fab transferred onto Linen or Burlap fabric, or perhaps onto my personal favorite… Canvas Drop cloth. It would also be great for Flour Sack Towel projects too! Can’t you see this on a towel, hanging in a French Country Kitchen? Of course you can use this for any of your DIY projects, like tote bags, pillows, towels, signs, table runners, or Coasters and it would look really gorgeous on all sorts of furniture pieces! The possibilities are endless so have fun with this one I’m sure you will think of many of your own uses for it as well.
You might also like another similar French Bee Image and Printable HERE, I think it would coordinate very well with this Queen Bee.
