How to Draw a Rabbit Step by Step
Kids or grown ups alike can follow these simple steps with this Rabbit Drawing guide! I would recommend creating your drawing with a pencil, as you can erase if you have any mistakes. But you can always draw over it with an ink Pen or marker when you are done, to define it some more. You might find our Drawing Supplies for Beginners Post HERE useful. Have fun creating some of these cute little creatures!
Rabbit Drawing Step 1
Step 1: Let’s draw the outline of the body. Draw a circle on the page. Notice the slant of the bottom shape. Under the circle, draw an oval shape leaning to the right.
Step 2: Next add the ears on top of the circle. They have the shape of a leaf. Then draw the tail on the left side of the bottom oval. It is the shape of a jelly bean.
Step 3: Now you sketch some legs. They are rounded shapes with the leg larger than the feet.
Step 4: Sketch in three more circles at the top of the body oval to create the arms. One circle will be a little bigger that the circle for the paws.
Step 5: Finish your little fellow by adding eyes, nose, mouth, and whiskers. Draw some lines inside the ears and around the tail. Draw a triangle shape for a carrot with some lines for the carrot stems.
The only thing left to do now is to color in your adorable pet! Go grab your markers, Crayola crayons, oil pastels or color pencils, or whatever you have on hand, and finish your artwork masterpiece! This one is colored in with tan body, pink ears, nose, and cheeks, but you can let your creativity go wild and use whatever colors you like! You get to decide!
