6 Retro Mother Images
Today we have a fun collection of Retro Mother Images! Is it too early to begin thinking about Mother’s Day? In this set we have compiled a delightfully charming array of Moms from 1940-1960. We have a sophisticated Mom thinking intensely, along with a young wide-eyed Mom trying to bake with cookbook in hand. I adore the musical Mom image where a beautiful lady wearing an apron is conducting with a baton in hand. Our collection is rounded out with an adorable Mother and son working on the laundry together. It might be a good one to use on a Chore Chart! These lovely Mom Graphics are perfect to use in your Handmade Gift, Craft Projects, and Cards for your favorite Moms, Grandma’s, or Mother in Laws!
Fun Retro Mother Images
Here we have a nice Retro Thinking Mom Image! This Vintage Image was scanned from a 1940′s Printer’s book. The lady has a classic 1940’s Hairstyle with the tall upswept section in front. She is wearing a white Apron, and has her hand on her chin as if she is pondering something deeply. Such a fun image! What could she be thinking about?Above we have cute a Black and White image of a Classic 1940’s Housewife! This one shows a young Mom who appears to be Baking or Cooking. She’s got her recipe book in one hand and hand beater in a mixing bowl in the other. Her eyes are open in an ‘oh my golly’ moment staring at the recipe. I imagine that she is trying to bake her first birthday cake and is wondering what the terms mean. I hope it turns out well!

Retro Mother and Child Picture
How cute is this image? This is a fun Retro picture showing a typical Mother as housewife and her Little Boy doing the Laundry together! This one comes from a 1960’s U.S. Govt. Pamphlet! The original is the black and white one, but I colored it in a bit in case you prefer it that way.
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection! You might also like the 100 Images in our Retro Archives HERE or the 20+ Images in our Mother’s Day Archives HERE!
