Above is an amazing Ornate Lock Image! This one and those below it comes from probably one of the most fantastic books that I have ever owned!! The book is a rare Circa 1876 Ornamental Design book, with the most phenomenal ornaments that I have ever seen! Shown is a very fancy ornament with scrolls and swirls and a beribboned padlock hanging in the center. I thought this one might be fun to use in your Valentine’s Day Craft or DIY Projects, with a “Key to My Heart” kind of theme! Here we have a Fabulous Scrolls Frame Ornament! Make sure you enlarge this to see all of the incredible detail! Also scanned from the Circa 1876 Ornamental Design book, shown above is another ornamental design with romantic swirls and scrolls on it. In the center there is a blank oval frame. It would be great to add a monogram to! This can be used centered as you see above or nice as a corner ornament.
Above is a fancy Architectural Ornament Image! This very ornate image features so many lovely details. The central part of the design has a shield like shape with a fancy edge. On either side of the shield are two flowing ribbons wrapping along some carved Acanthus Leaf branches. So gorgeous! This one was scanned from an antique Ornamental Design book in my collection.
This is another fine Scrolls Frame Image! Make sure you enlarge this to see all of the amazing detail! Scanned from the old Ornamental Design book, this is an ornamental design that is highly ornate, displaying loads of scrolls and swirls! There’s an opening in the center where you can add some text. This is a Spectacular Scroll Frame Image! Be sure you enlarge this to see all of the incredible detail! Scanned from the rare Ornamental Design book as well, we have a fabulous graphic frame with romantic swirls and scrolls on it. In the center there is a blank space that would be great to add a monogram to!

Ornate Scroll Clipart Frames
I’m so excited to share this beauty with you guys! This vintage illustration is from an antique Design book. It is a gorgeous ornate frame with a plethora of fancy scrolls and swirls, etc. I love the hand drawn feel of this one! Originally I thought this was something to do with the Opera, but the text actually means something like “End of the Work,” which makes sense since this is the last page in the book. I think this would be gorgeous on Wedding stationery!
This Fancy Antique Frame, comes from an Antique Jewelry Catalog! I just love how Ornate this one is with all it’s Curly Cues and Doodads. An amazing piece of work! You can see that the frame was originally used for an Advertisement for Miller Brothers Jewelry, if you scroll down to the next image. I’ve removed all of the text, on this version, so that you can just use the frame.
And here is the full original ad. The Factory was in New Jersey and the office was in New York. Such a beautiful ad!
I hope you enjoyed this marvelous curated collection of Scroll Clipart! You might also like our beautiful collection of 17 Antique Printer Ornaments HERE!

I know you may have explained this to me before. When it try to print, say the scroll images, they’re larger than my paper and split into many separate images. I’m printing from an iPad and don’t have the option to change the size.

Hi Donna, it sounds like you are trying to print the whole page? You want to save the image to your ipad first and then print after you save it. For an Ipad you want to place your finger on the image that you want and then hold it until a menu pops up. Next tap Save Photo/Image to download the image. I hope that helps!
