Shabby French Typography Labels
Hi guys! Once again, I’m teaming up with Diana from, Diana Dreams Factory for a collaboration post! In fact we have been doing these on a regular basis for the last few weeks, and there will be more to come in the future!
Today I’m sharing these Beautiful Shabby French Typography Labels! Diana pulled together some of my best French Typography Images, and made them Label size, and then added one of my Fancy French Frames around them! They are all included on one easy to Print Sheet. And that’s not all! Diana has created a gorgeous project to go with it!
The project are these gorgeous Shabby French Painted Jars! Diana has all the Step by Step instructions on her Blog. You can see the Jars, and get instructions for the Techniques, HERE. But be sure and grab the Printables below before you head over there!

As usual we have created two versions, a front facing version and a mirrored version, so that you can download the exact format that you need depending on your project and/or your transfer method.
Make sure you stop by Diana’s Site at Dreams Factory HERE to see the Full Tutorial. It’s such a charming Shabby Style project and it goes beautifully with the Printable above. Stay tuned for more gorgeous Projects and Printables by Diana!

What water slide decal paper do you use?

I’m wondering if these labels would do on terra cotta pots. I saw some someone had made. They were lightly white washed with graphic on them, and herbs were planted in them. So adorable. I don’t think the graphics were free hand, but I suppose could have been stenciled. What’s your advice?
Karen says
It could be a little tricky if they contained real plants that need watered. Any image affixed to the porous pots would eventually peel I believe. You could create a pot hanger or a sign stick to go into the plant with these.

I need some help! I just returned from Normandy with a plastic bag of sand from Omaha Beach. I purchased a case of Italian glass bottles and I have filled the bottles with the sand. I now need labels, and I would love to find antique (yellow aged) French labels that I can personalize, with the wording “Normandie, France”. “Omaha Beach – Juin 1944” with the motif of the samples you have for your jars. Any idea how I can order these or make these myself?
