32 Star Clipart – Star Images Free
Today I’m offering a fun, and useful collection of Free Star Clipart Images! These are all vintage Clip Art Illustrations, that were scanned from Antique Printer Books in my collection. These are a bit different from other Clipart pictures that you might find around on the web, as they are old and so therefore the printing is slightly distressed, giving them a great vintage, or Retro, style look. These Star Cliparts are perfect to use in Web Design, Crafts, School Reports, as Teacher Clip Art to use in Classrooms or Sunday Schools, for Power Points Presentations and they would make great Photoshop Brushes too, for all sorts of Graphics Design Projects. I hope you can find some uses for these Star Images in your projects. I’m offering each Star Graphic in several different colors, like Black and White, Red, Gold and Navy Blue. And there are a number of different designs as well, including Borders and even a few Frames. These additional options lend themselves well to Holiday Designs, like Christmas or 4th of July, as well as other Patriotic Holidays. Just click on the Images to enlarge and then click with the button on the right side of your mouse to save the images, to your computer.
Stars Clipart
These are some interesting Double Stars! Each version has a base of a highly detailed version of an Architectural style star like you see below, but then it has a second one that is laying on top of of it, to create an unusual and interesting design. Wouldn’t these be great for 4th of July Projects?!
This is a wonderful set of architectural looking Star Images, almost 3D looking with the way they are designed. The one on the right is a 5 Point Star Picture in black and white. I think it’s quite striking and it has nautical type style to it. The Navy Star would be great for Patriotic or Nautical Style Designs or Crafts. It’s repeated again in bright Red. This version of the 5 point Star would be nice for Christmas Designs or projects. And lastly we have a gold version. Teachers do you have a student that deserves a Gold Star for their efforts in the classroom? This one might just fit the bill!
Star Outline Images
Star Images
This is a set of fun reverse Star Images. For the first one, the Star itself is white and the area around it is black. It has great retro appeal with its distressed looking background! Next we have a nice bright red and white version. There is also a Navy Blue version, and a Gold and White version of that same Star Image.
Fancy Stars
This is the latest addition to this collection. I’ve added some old fashioned fancy looking versions! The first one is the original full color sepia toned version. I’ve also created a black and white one, a golden yellow version and an Aqua one as well. I think the Aqua one would look nice in coastal style projects.
Star Clipart Borders
I’ve also created a few Star Borders for you to use. These make great Photoshop Brushes, as you can stamp them out over and over for all different purposes. They would be great to decorate the edge of a project, paper, or report, or nice for Web Design too. I’ve created this in a few different colors as well.
Here is the bright red version. Great for Holiday projects or Patriotic projects or to use any place where you just want a little pop of color!
I’ve also created a Navy Blue version of this images of a Star Border as well, for another option.
And here we have an Star Outline Border that you can also use, and you can color it in however you like, if you want to.
Star Graphic Frames
This is an interesting little Star Graphic Frame that was scanned from one of my old Printer Books. This one shows a black border with White Six point Stars, inside of the border. There are also four of the same Clipart Stars in each of the corners on this one. I think it would make a cute Label or perhaps you could use it as gift tag etc.
Here we have a simple black and white Stars Graphic Frame, made up of 5 point Star Images. This one could also be used as a Label or Gift Tag, or use it to emphasize some text on a website or blog.
Here is a nice red version of the Stars Clipart Frame that you can use for your Holiday designs. I think it would make a cute Christmas Label or Gift Tag.
And here is a Navy version to use as another option.
Christmas Clip Art Stars
I’m updating this post with a few Christmas Stars! Shown above is a simple star with rays radiating out of it, all around. There is a plain version, as well as one with the Baby Jesus in the center. In addition to the black and white versions, I’ve also created some gold versions. These were scanned from a 1937 Printers book. The book does not have a copyright mark in it, it does not appear to have every been copyrighted.
I hope you enjoyed this Clip Art collection, there are currently about 28 Star Graphics here to play with and I will be sure to add more as I find others in the future. Hopefully you can find ways to use these in your projects, presentations, printables or reports. If you use Adobe Photoshop, or a similar image editing program, you can change the color of these, or alter them however you like to fit in with your designs. Let me know if you would like to see more of these types of collections in the future, I’m always curious about what you guys find useful, so feel free to leave a comment below and let me know.

I love all these star images. Stars are one of those objects that are actually pretty hard to draw, so I like having a template. I wish I had all day to just sit here and craft:) I always enjoy seeing what images you have here. Such a great resource. Have a great day!
