14 Anchor Clipart
Today we have a fabulous collection of Anchor Clipart Images! Anchors are one of the most important pieces of equipment on a ship. They keep a vessel in place and prevent it from drifting. Anchors are made of a variety of materials, and are generally quite heavy, they are designed to keep boats in place by weighing them down. In art, they represent stability and support, so they can be quite a useful icon to convey that message. In this collection we have several classic looking Black and White graphics. Included are a charming Anchor Lithograph and a beautiful Anchor Printable. We also have a label and some silhouette images. These Vintage pictures are great for your Steampunk, Nautical, or Mixed Media Projects! They might be nice for your Beach Themed DIY projects or maybe for a Tattoo!
Anchor Clipart
Here we have an Anchor Clipart Graphic with the word Hope on it. I think we could all use one of these right about now! It’s a classic looking image with a bit of rope attached to it and an ocean scene in the background. The sun rays make the word “Hope” really stand out.
Featured above is a delicate Anchor illustration, that includes pretty leaves and what looks to be a stylized Dolphin or fish in the center. Lovely!
This is one of the best Anchor Images, that I have found! It was scanned from a Circa 1908 Design Book. Above is a black and white image of a bold, almost Silhouette like, Anchor Graphic with a Rope wrapped around it.
A classic looking Antique Clipart from an 1880’s Typography book, this old Engraving shows a Woman at Sea with a Giant Anchor. She looks to be standing on top of her own tiny island (or rock) in the middle of the Ocean. It is just a wonderful Royalty Free Nautical Image to use in your Art!

Shown here is a lovely Vintage Anchor Printable! Above is a marvelous Old Print of a Ship’s Anchor with Flowers growing all around it. So nice to frame for some Instant Wall Decor. I think this would look great in a Beach House.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here’s a pretty vintage postcard with a blue floral anchor on it. There is a delicate hand in the picture with a note that says “Forget me not”.
This is such a charming nautical picture. I love all of the pretty flowers on this one and the blue background. Lovely!
Nautical Labels
Above we have an interesting looking Antique Label from a Circa 1880’s Printer’s book. This label would have been used originally by banks to decorate checks and such. I love how ornate this image is! It has a marvelous looking Anchor with a Rope and lots of fancy flourishes.
Above we have an interesting looking French Label from an Antique Ephemera piece. It reads, “Marque de Fabrique.” I love the look and sound of that phrase. The label features an Anchor inside of a beautiful decorative Round Frame. The anchor is a fairly simple line drawing. I split the original graphic apart into two additional images so that you can use the Frame and Anchor separately. Nice!
Silhouette Anchor Images
Here we have a wonderful Anchor clipart with what I think is a Dolphin on it, or perhaps it is some other type of sea creature. This is a Silhouette image with bold details.
Here is another fun Nautical Graphic, which was scanned from the same Antique Type Book, as the one above. Both images are of Old Fashioned Anchors. The bottom image has a Rope entwining it. It almost looks like a stencil!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection! You might also like our Best Free Ocean themed Graphics HERE.

Hi Karen,
These are all beautiful – from very delicate to majestic. Anything that is nautical is a reminder of summer, the beach, the sea, ocean – it really puts the mood into summer. My favourite is the cross. It is outstanding! Thanks so much for sharing these with us and have a wonderful weekend!!

The last 2 are definitely prime candidates for stencils; they remind me of the old Dover books of oaktag stencils that you cut out yourself with an xacto knife
graphicsfairy says
The good old xacto knife 🙂 Yes, they would make for great stencils, enjoy!
