Nostalgic Coffee Ephemera
This is an Old Black and White Coffee Advertisement Graphic! The image above of a Coffee Ad postcard is fun to read, especially since it is a Mocha blend. Notice the humorous promise on the card that says “All Coffee and No Trash!” I’m sure the customers were happy to know that little ‘tidbit’ of information!
Pictured above is a lovely old Coffee Advertisement! There are great graphics on this one, including the Lion and the Floral Branches. That is one stately looking Lion! The King of Coffees slogan surely refers to the Lion since he is the King of the Jungle. Such a great idea! The Typography is fabulous as well!
Botanical Coffee Plant Print
Vintage Coffee Clipart
Here is a fun Coffee Trade Card from Baltimore, MD! Shaped like a Lord Calvert Coffee can, it is a die cut Coffee Ad for regular or drip grind coffee for a Percolator. So cute!
Here we have a tall Vintage Coffee Pot Image! This is a Victorian Die Cut Scrap piece. It looks to me like this is supposed to be a metal Coffee Pot. It has an unusual shape with fluted sides and an engraved decorative design on it. The handle appears to be made of wood. Interesting!
Here is a picture of a wonderful old Coffee Grinder! It looks to be quite heavy duty and it’s decorative as well, with that little Eagle finial on top.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here we have an old Graniteware Coffee Pot. This picture is black and white, because it came from an old printer’s book, but in real life these usually were bright fun jewel tone colors! They are really fun pieces to collect and display in a kitchen.
Woman with Coffee Illustration
Here we see a beautiful illustration of a young girl with a big cup of Coffee! I love the softness of this scene and the pretty flowers.
Antique Coffee Percolators
Above is a tall Coffee Percolator from an early 1900’s Catalog! This one is metal with a fairly substantial handle and a glass dome on top where you can watch the coffee perk. It has the word ‘ROME’ embossed on the glass. Here is a quirky looking Coffee Percolator Graphic! The metal on this one seems to be textured and covered with a pattern of dots. It has a black handle and textured spout.
Above is a gorgeous black and white Coffee Pot Engraving. This one is highly decorative and is probably silver. The tall graceful shape of this serving piece makes it truly special! I found this illustration in an 1850’s Catalog in my collection.

Hi Karen,
I love your site and have used it for years! Regarding the first antique perk pot, I’m fairly sure the label says “Rome,” not “home.” Maybe that’s where it was made? Thanks for all the nostalgic beauty you provide!

Hi Rosie, Thank you! I think you are right about that, I have corrected it in the description. Thanks for being a long time reader!

Never mind. Found it in premium under Irish Coffee
Karen Watson says
Ok. That makes sense! I’m glad you found it!
Erin Kaven says
A while ago you had an Erin coffee graphic but I can’t find it on this or premium (yes I’ve been a member from the beginning). Has it been removed? I would dearly love to get it. I should have printed it when I saw it. It was within the past twelve months I thought. Please let me know .
Thank you,
Karen Watson says
Hi Erin, I’m sorry but I don’t think that was me. I don’t remember having anything like that. I hope you can find it!

Hi Karen,
Oh, I adore those coffee ads! When I read, “no trash,” I thought – Wow, they just tell it like it is! LOL!
That is a great ad – I love it. The one with the lion – that one has a lot to look at. The lion is beautiful and it sure sends the message about being King of Coffees. I love that one too.
The coffee plant looks so interesting – I’ve never seen one before. It’s gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing these awesome images with us!
Have a wonderful long weekend!!

I am so glad you enjoyed them Christine 🙂

That coffee postcard with the “no trash” promise is fantastic. They would add sawdust to coffee back in the day. I guess the only way to be really sure is to grind your own beans. The Lion Coffee is one of my favorite ads ever.
graphicsfairy says
Oh wow, really, sawdust? Yikes, well I am glad you enjoyed the images!
Jean McCalla says
