12+ Carte Postale Postcard Clipart
Today we have a wonderful collection of Carte Postale Postcard Clipart Ephemera! The images below feature beautifully aged graphics. Many of them have colorful stamps and French postmarks. Oh La La! Several have lovely handwriting on them. All of this ephemera would be great to include in a French themed Junk Journal. They would be fun for your Collage or Card Making projects as well!
Digital Carte Postale Ephemera with Stamps
I love the back of this old Carte Postale! This one is addressed to Monsieur Emile and has a beautiful faded red stamp along with several postmarks. I think it is quite charming!
This is such a charming old French Postcard! I just loved the back of this one with the red stamp and the handwritten address. I like that it says, “Republique Française.” also.
I’ve actually added several new pieces to this collection today, so make sure you scroll through to see them all. Here is a lovely one with a red stamp. If you look closely you will see that it is addressed to the Grand Hotel!
Carte Postale Postcard Clipart without Stamps
Swoon!! Aren’t these gorgeous?! Pictured above are the backs of two vintage Paris Postcards. The top one has never been used. It is displaying a wonderful little advertisement on it, and has the most beautiful soft green shade. Mailed from Amsterdam, the second one has some wonderful handwriting with two lovely postmarks. I hope you can use these two perfect Ephemera images for your art!
I think this one has such lovely handwriting on it. I wish my handwriting looked like that! It’s a nice creamy aged card. I believe the date of the postmark is 1906.
This Carte Postale Postcard is quite plain and simple, but I think it could be really useful for using as journal card. Or you could even make a postcard to send to a friend, with your own artwork on the other side!
And this one is even more simple than the one above. I just loved the little Paris mark on it!

French Digital Postmark Clipart
This was scanned from an amazing antique French letter! As you can see by the postmark, the letter was sent from Boulogne and is addressed to a Madame Sugart in Paris. This wonderful ephemera image dates to the 1830s. I’ve included 2 versions; a cleaned up color version and a black and white one. Wouldn’t this make a fabulous French pillow or be gorgeous on a lampshade?!!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Carte Postale Postcard Clipart Ephemera! You might also like our Creamy Ephemera Labels HERE.

Karen, I’m sure for you and the other readers this question will seem ridiculous however I’m new to this and am in the question asking phase and also 72 yrs old and not real tech savvy. So here goes I don’t understand how to download or print the images from your page. None but the set of three have a link to download and when I click on any of the others I just get a large version of that image with no option to download or print. Can you give me any guidance on what I’m supposed to be doing to download or print off the images? BTW I love these postcards and also the next group with the French ephemera. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this site and your generosity in sharing with us all. I wish you a beautiful day and a sweet and abundant return for all your output. LaVonda

Hi LaVonda, No problem at all! Just click on the image that you want to save. Sometimes you need to click the image more than once to get them to the largest size. After that, use the button on the “Right Side” of your mouse. Click that right side button on top of the image and then you will see a little box that will pop up on your screen, the box will give you an option to save the image. Select “Save Image As” and save that to your computer. Just make sure you pay attention to where you are saving it so that you can find it again! I hope that helps!

This is a great site with really useful stuff. Thanks Karen. It’s great to find someone supply good quality graphics, rather than the miserable low-res stuff you seem to find normally on the internet. I’ve used a lot of Karen’s images on my new project “The Cabinet of Curiosities”. Watch this space for further info
