8 Queen of Hearts and More
Today we have a marvelous collection of Queen Cards, including the Queen of Hearts! The Ephemera images featured below are appealing colorful graphics from a vintage set of Bridge Tally cards. The card suits are beautifully represented in the illustrations. Each card has a Table Number and Couple Number at the top that appears to be handwritten. Perhaps the cards represented the table settings for members of a bridge club. I believe these date to the early 1900s. The Woman of each Suit – Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs – has a lovely long gown with the symbols of her suit around the hem. She holds a staff in her hand. All are nice pictures to use in your Collage or Mixed Media projects as well!
Queen of Hearts Pictures
Shown above is a lovely young woman, with a crown on her head. She is surrounded by a frame of hearts playing cards. She is the Queen of Hearts!
Shown above is a lovely young woman with a page boy type hairstyle. She’s wearing a crown and a whimsical looking costume with hearts. Such a fun colorful picture!
Now this woman seems a bit more serious about her queenly responsibilities! She has quite a serious expression on her face. She’s wearing a large red and gold crown and a red cape.
Here is the newest image in this collection. This next one is an old playing card. She’s quite a quirky looking Queen!
Queen Card Image Set
Pictured above is a regal Queen of Spades card! It comes from a marvelous set of Bridge Tally cards in my collection. The Spade Woman is wearing a lovely long golden gown with spades around the hem and across the bodice. She has a cape slung over one shoulder. The ermine collar almost looks like a wing behind her. She is holding a large Spade staff in her hand and is wearing a crown of spades. I love the hem of her gown!
This is a fun old Queen of Hearts Bridge Tally card!! From the early 1900’s, her dress is adorned with multiple red hearts. She is wearing a little black crown on her head that has a little heart standing up in the center. A fur scarf is wrapped around her shoulder. She is holding a Heart staff. I think the little Queen of Hearts is so sweet here. Perhaps you can use this in your Valentine’s Day Craft Projects as well.
Featured above is another fun Bridge Tally card! This one is the Queen of Diamonds card. Her crown of course has Red Diamonds on it. I love the pretty black and red diamond pattern slung low around her waist. She has a beautiful long red ribbon tied around her with a bow. She is holding a Diamond staff. Isn’t she lovely?!!
This is the fourth and final Bridge Tally card from this set! This one shows the Queen of Clubs. Her dress has three clubs at the hem and one at the bodice. She is holding a Clubs staff in her hand and wears a black crown with one club on the top. I actually did not have a Club Card for this set, so I created this one for you by using one of the other cards in the set. I’m hoping you like her!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Queen of Hearts and friends! You might also like our Queen Victoria Images HERE or even More Queen Images HERE.

Awww just love her! Thanks for the images and the comment.
We had such a nice day poking around. We got a late start as there was a gig the night before, and we did not get to bed till 4 am. So I knew much would be sold before we arrived. We will definitely be back to your store again, and hopefully get to meet up!
