6 Stork Pictures
This collection features Vintage Stork Pictures. This is a new collection that I am putting together. It looks like I only just have a few Stork images for now, but I will add more to this collection over time. These are such lovely Sea birds and of course we all think of Babies when we think of Storks, or at least here in the U.S. we do. As children were often told, in the old days, that Storks bring babies. This was to avoid embarrassment, when the question “Where do babies come from?” was asked by a curious child! I’m not sure where or exactly when that all started, such a funny story to tell! Anyway, some of these would work well in Nautical themed projects and others would be perfect to use in your handmade Baby Shower decor or cards.
Natural History Stork Images
This is a wonderful full color Vintage Stork Graphic! This guy comes from an antique Children’s Encyclopedia. Wouldn’t he look great on a Baby Shower Invitation?! He has gorgeous white feathers and his tail is black tipped as are his wings. He looks so regal standing there in the tail grass, with his very long legs. I actually just saw several of these the other day at a nearby pond. They are quite striking looking all in a group.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here is a Stork Picture showing a lovely fluffy looking white Bird. He is a nicely detailed Natural History illustration.
This next guy is one that I was not familiar with. He is a Saddle billed Stork Image, according to the caption on the card. He has a very interesting looking orange and black beak. His head is black, or perhaps it’s brown, and he has a white body with dark wings. I’ve never seen one of these before. I did a quick search on Google and it turns out that he is an African bird. Make sure you google him as well, these birds are even more incredible looking in photographs. This guy is cute, but this rendition does not do the species justice!
Baby with Stork Picture
This is a really cute Vintage Stork Card! Shown above is an old Postcard that was used to Congratulate a family on the arrival of their new Baby. The card features a large Stork, three darling Babies and some Water Lilies. One of the babies is actually riding the Stork! So precious!
Stork Clipart
This guy is a gorgeous Black and White Clipart image of a Stork! He is beautifully illustrated and is striking a classic pose for this bird. A wonderful vintage picture!
This is a black and white Stork Clipart image. He appears to be two toned or maybe even three toned as his head and neck look lighter than his wings and tail. I’m not sure what type he is but he is quite beautiful!
I hope you enjoyed this wonderful collection of Stork Pictures. We have lots more beautiful Birds in our Best Birds Post HERE and you can find some lovely Shorebirds HERE.
