7 Vintage Luggage Images

Today we have a fun collection of Vintage Luggage Images! Below are several types of suitcases along with a large trunk and a satchel. Each piece served the purpose of carrying someone’s personal items of one sort or another. These would be fun to tuck into a travel theme junk journal, and even if your not traveling right now, it’s still fun to dream about it for the future!

Featured above is a nice image from an early 1900’s ladies magazine! Shown is a fine piece of luggage with a bunch of travel stickers covering it. This is a fabulous vintage leather suitcase! It appears that the owner is quite the traveler, doesn’t it? Perhaps even a world traveler. Hence the need for a top notch quality suitcase to withstand all the wear and tear!

Here we have a fun card from a Children’s game with a lovely leather suitcase on it. The sienna colored luggage might be made of alligator or crocodile skin as it has a definite pattern on it. There are two matching straps or belts wrapping the piece. Lots of holes in the belts indicates that the suitcase will expand to hold a large amount of clothing. The card has rounded corners and displays the number 53 in red.

Vintage Travel Trunk Clipart

This is another fun one from the Antique Printer’s Sample book! This one shows a Man carrying a large Wooden Trunk on his back. Surely a lot of trinkets can go into that big container! The trunk must be rather heavy I would think. He must be quite strong to be holding it like that! I’ve included an option without the wording so that you can customize it to fit your project.

Here we have a couple of super cute Vintage Luggage Images! These are from an Old French Document that was another gift from our sweet French friend Sandrine, who dug these out of an old Paris archive! Shown above are two different black and white graphics of two sets of Luggage. Each one has a large Trunk type piece on the bottom, with a smaller suitcase, or perhaps hat boxes, on top. Such interesting looking pictures! These would be fun to use on a Travel Journal or to make a card for a friend going on a Trip. Maybe you could even create some cute Luggage Tags with them!
