5 Vintage Lyre Images
This is a beautiful collection of Vintage Lyre Images! I think some of these would work very well in Christmas Projects and Crafts.
This is an interesting Vintage Lyre Image! Such a bold looking graphic, I like the stripes on this Illustration! This one is from a rare early 1900’s Printer’s book.
This image is one of my all time favorites! It’s a beautiful Bird and Lyre Silhouette. So gorgeous! I love the beautiful vining leaves all over it.
Above is a magnificent Old World Musical Christmas Image! It is a good looking Graphic Ornament. This Musical Engraving was scanned from an Antique Circa 1828 Printer’s book. I love the classic Lyre, Horns, and festive Winter pine greenery!
Pictured above is a lovely Decorative Ornament Image! The ornament has a Lyre shape in the center. It is surrounded by Laurel Wreaths and tied up with a Bow along the bottom. These two were scanned from an Antique French Catalog that contains all sorts of Drapery Hardware. I think these may have been used as tie backs. I love how this appears to be hand drawn!
This is an exquisite Antique Printer’s Ornament from an 1880’s Book! I love that this one has Angel Wings. The Lyre/Harp in the center is nice as well. The scrollwork is just beautiful.
I hope you enjoyed this lovely collection of Vintage Lyre Images!

Such a great compliment! I also use these graphics, I make items to sell on my on line store as it is my only job & income. Use them for charity work too, and plan on doing more art collages with them & donating. So yes, I am here to say you have made a difference in my life too! Thank-you!
m. scahill if there is anything I can do to help you, plse let me know…maybe I have some craft items you can use for your projects.

Karen,
Just wanted to thank you for this awesome site. I lost my job and cannot really afford some of the crafting items that are out there. I try to be creative and think of things I can make with items around my house or items people are discarding. The Graphics Fairy has made it possible for me to still create beautiful projects at very little to no cost. Thank you for offering this to us free of charge it has helped me through some tough times and has helped me to be creative with very little. I call it artistic therapy. You never know if the avenue that you pursue in life may pay it forward to someone else in need. We all need to know if what we do matters to someone else. i am here to tell you you have made a difference in someone elses life. I in turn try to pay it forward with items i make with the help of your blog for charitable organizations that they can then auction off. Then they can help people in their cause and so on and so on…That is powerful and wonderful at the same time. Thanks Karen , have a beautiful day.
