6 Violin Images
Today we have a wonderful collection of Violin Images! Below are a mix of black and white and color Illustrations along with a couple of interesting Antique Photographs. I hope you will enjoy this lovely Musical Themed collection. We have a couple of old advertisements, one with a Frog Playing the instrument. I hope you love the pictures of people playing the violin and a Mother Daughter Card. All are perfect for your Musical Themed projects! They would all be fun for Junk Journal projects as well!
Pictured above is a cute old advertisement for a Violin from C.W. Story of Boston, Mass. I assume that ‘Teacher’ included with Violin, Box, and Bow refers to an Instructional Booklet. This would be quite a bargain today if priced between $4 – $25! Sounds like a pretty good opportunity to have up to a three day trial!
This is such a fun Graphic! Shown above is an old Larkin Advertising Card for “Handkerchief Soap” that features a fabulous cute Frog Playing Violin! He also appears to be smiling. The artistry is quite splendid I think. What an imaginative idea, and so whimsical!
Pictured above is a Lovely Violin Girl Image! Shown here is a beautiful Vintage Valentine picture showing a very pretty Girl dressed in a lovely pink dress with lace, with a nice shade of blue surrounding her. She is playing the Violin. I think that this one is especially beautiful. It is an old Valentine’s Day Postcard. It reads, “Music is filling this fond heart of mine, And you are the theme of it, dear Valentine! So sweet!
Old Violin Photos
Submitted by one of my very kind readers, this one shows a happy man playing his Violin with a smile on his face. This amazing Antique Photo makes me think that it might be from Appalachia, but I’m not certain. Sort of a Scots-Irish looking guy to me. The Photo also makes me think of Fiddler on the Roof. He even looks as though he could be standing on a roof or ledge of some type.
Featured above is a lovely old Photo showing a Mother and a truly adorable little Girl. Perhaps the Girl is holding some sheet music as Mother is giving her a lesson. They are both wearing pretty Wreaths on their heads. The Woman’s appears to be a classic Laurel Wreath. She is also holding a Violin. I thought this might be nice to use for Christmas. Love the old Postage Stamp too!
