Vintage Style Book Clipart

Featured above is a Beautiful Vintage Open Book Image! I think this is such an interesting image! It looks to be a Medieval style book. It has a beautiful illuminated illustration of a pretty Angel on the left side of the book. There is a Tassel bookmark in the center and lots of white space so that you can write a message on it.

Such an interesting piece! Pictured above is a wonderful Victorian Scrap Piece from my collection! I’m not certain what the purpose of it was, but it’s from a school in Ohio. The teacher’s name is on the cover and the students’ names are inside. The Circa 1887 -1888 Ephemera book is beautifully bound with what appears to be leather straps and corner pieces. I’ve included a scan of the cover along with a duplicate scan with the text removed. You can add your own wording and use it for something fun!!

Open Book Clip Art

This is a lovely Vintage Open Book Label Image! This one was originally a Label for a Perfume called Violet Water. It was scanned from an Antique Apothecary Label Catalog, you may recall the original HERE. A very nice reader named Ronald Marvin, took the image and kindly removed all the text for us, so that we can use it for our projects.

Above is a Royalty Free Image from an 1880’s Rubber Stamp Catalog in my collection. Shown is a marvelous looking old Open Book graphic! It has fabulous Typography that indicates it was an ad for a grocery store in Connecticut. Funny it says “John Madden” at the top; could he be an ancestor of the football coach? I’ve also included a blank version below.

Shown is a beautiful and Ornate Old Open Book Graphic! I adore the fancy marbled edges and the thin, scroll label. The lovely paper clip at the top is just dreamy. The original is at the top of this section with all the fabulous Typography on it. Directly above is a cleaned up, blank version so that you can write what you want on it. I think it would make a fun Bookplate or perhaps an invitation to a Book Club!!

Closed Book Clipart

 Featured above is an old fancy Leather Ledger Book with a date of 1893 on the cover. This one is from a rare early 1900’s Printer’s book!
