This is a cute Vintage Safety Pin Image! Shown above is a black and white illustration of an old Metal Safety Pin. This is another image scanned from a very rare printer’s book in my collection! There’s no date in the book, but my best guess would be that it’s from around the 1880′s. It’s pretty much a classic looking design.

Here is another cute Safety Pin Clipart picture. I remember some like this when I was a child, in the 60’s. The head was made out of some sort of ribbed plastic, and came in pastel colors like pink, white, yellow and light blue. I believe the plastic part was a safety feature so that the baby would not be scratched by the metal.
