This is a little project that I did last month, and I’m just now getting around to posting it. I swear I don’t know where the time goes lately, each day seems to be wooshing by!
I took a few of my vintage marble pieces, that I have collected for many years, these are souvenir pieces from Italy. And I paired them up with some tiny Succulent plants.
I just picked these up at Walmart, they were only a few dollars a piece. I picked out a few different varieties, although I have to say that funny looking one with the little pod looking things on it, fell apart when I planted it. The other ones were much easier to work with!
I just used some potting soil, and planted them in the tiny planters and then gave them some water.
I thought they looked cute in my Living Room. I placed this big Cloche over it, which looked great, but it’s not good for long term as the Succulents tend to get mold on them, it’s just too much moisture for them I guess. If you don’t have Vintage Marble Urns like these, it’s okay. I’ve seen Succulents planted in so many fun containers like, Silverplated Trophies, China Teacups, and even an old Boot! Just grab whatever you have, and plant a little collection of them together. It’s an easy way to bring a little something fresh and green into your home!
