There are 20 Blogger’s Homes total for you to tour this year and they are gorgeous. These ladies, and man, all really out did themselves this year!
If you are visiting from my friend Diane’s blog at In My Own Style, then welcome! And if you haven’t seen her beautiful home yet, be sure and pop over there first and then come back!
You may recall the Before Tour of our Home HERE. These photos were from before we moved in, so it really was a blank canvas then!
Much better now, with new Paint, and our Furniture and Accessories moved in! This is our Formal Living room. I painted it the same Charcoal gray that we had in our last home. I still love that color and it goes so well with our furnishings.
A few of you had asked where would I be hanging the Horse picture that so many of you love. I found the perfect spot for it on the back wall of the living room. I moved this Zinc Top table upstairs from my craft room and I think it looks just right here! I added an Antique European Grape Harvest basket and some metal Olive Buckets to the bottom ledge. And placed some Dried Cotton branches in the buckets for added texture.
More Cotton Branches on the Coffee Table, along with the Book Page Pumpkin that I made last year. You can find the Tutorial for that HERE.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen these Wild Turkey Feathers that I gathered at my Parent’s Home, in Northern California, over the Summer. I think they are just the right color for Fall!
Here you can see into the Foyer.
I kept it pretty simple in here. I like these Copper metal accessories for Autumn and the burlap runner adds more texture.
Here’s our Dining Room. Notice it’s the same gray as in the Living Room. I really do love that color! Haha! I used my Grandparent’s Antique Gold Pier Mirror as the jumping off point in this room, and found some other gold accessories to go with it. I’ve had those old gold Florentine trays for awhile now, I decided to hang them on the wall and I love how they look.
You’ll notice the brass chandelier is still hanging around. As soon as I figure out what I want to replace it with, it’s outa here! In the meantime I added a few faux berries to try to camouflage it a bit.
The table was dressed up with Gold and Burlap place mats and some old world looking Gold Chargers.
I changed out all of the China in my China cabinet. The green pieces that were on the top are now down below, and I put the Ironstone that used to be in our old kitchen, up in the top portion of the cabinet. It’s fun changing things out a bit. There’s nothing like a move, to make you rethink where things go!
I found this little Gold Studded Pumpkin at TJ Maxx. So cute!
Here you can see inside of the China Cabinet a little better.
The two Paper pieces inside of the Cloches are from my Blog. You can find the Fall Oak Leaves Printable HERE and the Maple Postcard HERE.
This is the view into the Family Room.
It’s much larger than our old Family room, so we purchased a sectional sofa in here. The sofa we selected has a nubby linen like texture and it’s a nice neutral shade. You may recall the metal Clock that I purchased from my friend Amy at Lucketts Store a few years ago. I still love it!
Another one of my Book Page Pumpkins. This one is resting on the large Tree Slice that I purchased from my friend Candice at Chartreuse and Co. I think it’s one of the most versatile accessories that I own, it get’s moved all over the house and seems to work in every Season!
The yellow Pillows and Throw are from Homegoods.
These Copper colored bottles are also from Chartreuse and Co.
We painted the Kitchen a light tan color and I’m really pleased with how it turned out!
These little Velvet Pumpkins are from TJ Maxx. I was only able to find two of them last year, but they had a much larger selection this year, so I grabbed a couple more!
I got these Rattan place mats at Ikea and the plates and Napkins are from Pier One. I saw these napkins recently on my favorite new decorating show, Fixer Upper, and was so pleased to find them by accident just a few days later!
I hope you enjoyed this tour of our new home!
I know some of you have been following along with my pal Johnnie, from Saved by Love Creations, as she DIY’s her house into a home as well. You may recall with both purchased new homes at the same time. Be sure and check out her latest DIY project, her gorgeous new Kitchen Backsplash HERE!
Now for the next stop on the tour! Last, but certainly not least, is Jeanne Oliver! Stop over and visit her HERE. Her style is amazing and I know you guys will love everything she does!
P.S. … you can also follow the tour on Pinterest on the BHG Find Fall Home Tours Pinterest Board!

Visiting from InMyOwnStyle 🙂 Very pretty rooms and love the simplicity of your fall decor. Call me crazy but your brass chandy looks great with your fall colors …and other aspects in the room too, especially the pier mirror against the wall. Hey it might grow on you 😉
Karen Watson says
Thanks Connie! I’m so glad you stopped by! I appreciate you weighing in on the chandelier!

Karen your home is beautiful! I absolutely love the grey walls. We painted a few walls grey and I can’t see myself ever changing. It just looks elegant and chic without trying too hard. Love all your fall decor too. Great job! Now the painter in me is screaming, noooooo, don’t throw out that chandelier! Just paint it! It can look so beautiful! Lol
Karen Watson says
Thank you Mary! You are so kind! I know that you are right about the chandelier, it would look much better painted, but I have my heart set on something completely different in here, so it’s on it’s way out! Lol!
Jeanne says
