Full Tutorial:
Step 1: Print out the Bird Seed Tags. Cut them out with your scissors, or paper cutter, and then fold them in half! Punch a whole at the left hand corner if you would like and string with ribbon or twine…or you can just dab a little glue in the corner and attach to the ribbon.
Step 2: Next take your red Gingham ribbon and measure it to fit the size of the mason jar lid and then cut it …add a touch of hot glue to the ring and cover the metal edge of the Mason Jar ring…so simple!
Step 3: Now I put some moss on the flat lid and some on the ring as well…then place the bird nest in the center…add a bit of the moss and then glue the Cardinal on top. Add whatever embellishments you want…I just used a little bit of moss. Then I tied a double bow and attached it to the ring.
Step 4: Now fill your jar up to the top with the bird seed…
Step 5: Now screw on the jar lid and add the tag and VOILA!!! A picture perfect gift for your Bird loving friends or family members!
Now how cute is that?! I sure hope you enjoyed this little quick and easy DIY Bird Lover Gift! Homemade gifts are the best as they come from the heart!
