Gorgeous Blue Butterfly Images
I love this lovely Vintage Aqua Blue Butterfly Image! It seems to be perfectly drawn to scale. This one comes from a Circa 1863 German Natural History Butterflies and Moths Book. I think it has a great Bohemian style look to it! I especially like the soft watery Blue Color of this beautiful Insect. This one is a fancy Victorian Butterfly Scrap! I love the variations of colors in this one. It has lots of gold touches too, which I think would be fun to draw over with a gold metallic pen to bring out that bit of sparkle. There is bright red accents that are the perfect pop of color. Breathtaking!
This next illustration is a very soft pale blue … almost a periwinkle shade. The black edges create a nice contrast. Lovely!
Above is a beautiful blue Butterfly from an antique Natural History print. I just adore the color of it! It almost looks transparent or translucent.
This is a lovely Vintage Butterfly from an Antique Children’s Encyclopedia. I think the bits of Yellow and Blue on this one is the perfect contrast of blue colors.
Above is a splendid looking Butterfly from an antique Natural History print. It almost looks like a Halloween colored Butterfly to me with the orange accents.
This guy is not totally blue, but he has a nice bright blue stripe on him, as well as some charming spots! This one has a little paper banner at the top of it, where you could add a tiny bit of text.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here is a beautiful Indigo blue insect!

I’m not one to comment , but I had to say that the “Death’s Hawk Headmoth” image is amazing. The Skull on the back of the head is truly the most unique I’ve ever seen. The other Butterfly images are beautiful too.
