8 Butterfly & Bug Ephemera Book Pages

Today I’m sharing a spectacular collection of Butterfly & Bug Ephemera Book Pages! See Moths, Butterflies, Beetles, Bees, Caterpillars, and even a Hornet. These Beautifully Illustrated Prints were scanned from Natural History books in my collection. I have created a Full Sized Printable PDF of each. All display amazing black and white butterfly illustrations on creamy colored backgrounds. I think they are fabulous just the way they are, but you could have some fun adding color to them as well. They are so versatile. You can print them out to use as some Free Printable Wall Art in your Home Décor. I think they would look lovely mixed in with your Spring Decor, perhaps under a glass cloche or behind the panes of an Old Window! Of course these beauties would be lovely to use in Mixed Media Projects or added to an artful Junk Journal!

I just adore these gorgeous Antique Butterfly Images! These beautiful dark toned butterflies are from a Circa 1858 Natural History book in my collection. I find the intricate detail on these so impressive. The artists who drew Natural History images were so talented in their craft!

Above is a lovely Butterfly Picture scanned from the Circa 1858 book as well. This antique print on the same creamy background has such a lovely aged patina to it! The butterflies here are all light in tone, which provides such a nice airy appearance.

This is a fabulous Antique Butterfly Print. Shown above is a grand collection of black and white butterflies. This illustration is the title page to the Butterfly section of the book. It has a lovely big Swallow Tail butterfly on it, among others. This book is fairly small, so I’ve enlarged the image and cleaned it up a bit.

This is another wonderful Natural History Vintage Printable!! Featured above are all sorts of insects, some with and some without wings. Included are some moths, caterpillars, and beetles. I love the rustic style of this print along with the gorgeous sepia tones! This print comes from a Circa 1860 book on British Butterflies.

Pictured above is a lovely Natural History Insects Printable!! Shown above are all sorts of insects, including some moths, a hairy caterpillar, and a bug that resembles a crab. This rustic print on aged creamy paper is yet another example of the remarkable detail seen in old Natural History prints!

Here is a Superb British Butterflies Printable!! This is another excellent print presenting a variety of insects, including some moths, a butterfly, a large beetle, and even a cute ladybug. Wow! This print has gorgeous aged tones as well.
