DIY Halloween Bottles
Hello my pretties! It’s Kelly from Eclectically Vintage swooping in on my broomstick to spread some Halloween gore. Blood red wine flows from these bottles emblazoned with Witches Brew, Web of Spider and Wing of Bat. Let’s make some DIY Halloween Bottles for your next Halloween party!
These are so super easy to make and fast too as you can put these together in just minutes! Your friends and family will be impressed that you went the extra mile to embellish these fun bottles. If you don’t drink wine you could always use these as decorations in your home decor, or perhaps as vases. Just add fake flowers and maybe attach a free cobwebs to the flowers to make them more spooky.
There are very few supplies need for this craft, you probably have everything that you need at home. No trip to Hobby Lobby is needed for these simple DIY Halloween Potion Bottles!
Supplies for DIY Halloween Bottles:
Glass wine Bottles (empty or full you can decide!)
Mod Podge
Foam Paintbrush
Scissors
Tutorial:
Follow the easy steps below to create this DIY Halloween Crafts Project.
Step 1) Raid your recycling bin for empty glass bottles (or use full wine bottles if you prefer).
Step 2) Soak the bottles in soapy hot water in order to remove the original labels.
Step 3) Print out the haunting potion labels printable and cut out the labels with your scissors. If you have an inkjet printer you may want to seal the ink using this tutorial to make them waterproof.
Step 4) Apply some Mod Podge with a foam paintbrush to affix the images to the bottles and let dry thoroughly.
Step 5) Next apply two additional coats of Mod Podge on top of the images to seal them, this adds an extra layer of protection.
Step 6) All that is left to do now is to invite your favorite goblins over for a glass of blood … I mean red wine.
I’m sure your friends and neighbors will be impressed with your spooky Halloween Decor bottles! A few alternatives to this project, you could use jars instead of bottles, you could further embellish them with some rustic twine and charms, ribbon, stickers or perhaps consider doing a painted bottle with orange or black paint. Try creating a small vignette if you like with rubbers spiders, plastic bones and cute skulls.
My house for cocktails … at the stroke of midnight!

I always wondered if wine really was poison. It sure makes me feel like I drank the wrong potion the next day!
