How to Draw a Goose Step by Step
Kids or grown ups alike can follow these simple steps with this fun Goose Drawing guide! I would recommend creating your drawing with a pencil, as you can erase if you have any mistakes. But you can always draw over it with an ink Pen or marker when you are done, to define it some more. Have fun creating some these cuties!
Goose Drawing Step 1
Step 1: First Draw a Spiral for the basis of the Head and neck of the Goose.
Step 2
Step 2: Next add a slightly curved line for his back, that connects to the neck and head.
Step 3
Step 3: Now you’ll sketch in another curved line for his chest. This line will also create the front of his neck and go up to meet his head.
Step 4
Step 4: Now we’ll draw a simple curved line for this back side.
Step 5
Step 5: Let’s create a simple curved shape for this thigh and then draw one of the Goose’s webbed feet as shown above.
Step 6
Step 6: You can sketch in a simple line for this under belly and draw the other foot directly under it. Now we will add 2 triangular shapes for his open beak. And also a circle for this eye, with a filled in black circle for his eye pupil.
Step 7
Step 7: Add a little line to complete the tail of the Goose. And create his wing with one large curved line and one small curved line. At this point you have a simple and cute Cartoon Goose Drawing! You could stop here if you like or continue on below to add more detail.
Step 8
Step 8: We just need to add some additional detail as shown above. Some narrow strokes on his tail and wings to define his feathers. You can sketch in some small curved lines to show additional feather texture. A few other details you can add are to shade around his eye and neck. Add his nostril and define his beak a bit more. And lastly add some shading to his feet.
The only thing left to do now is to color in your darling Goose! Go grab your markers, Crayola crayons, oil pastels or color pencils, or whatever you have on hand, and finish your artwork masterpiece! Because I opted for a white Farm Goose, there was not much to color on mine, I just added a bit of orange to his beak and feet, but you can let your creativity go wild and use whatever colors you like! You get to choose!
