2 Free Vintage Snail Images
Today I’m sharing these Free Vintage Snail Images! These were scanned from an Early, pre 1860’s Natural History book! Featured below are 2 cute Black and White Snail Engravings. These would be fun to use in your Garden or Spring themed Craft or DIY Projects!
According to the book that I scanned these from this guy is a Large Garden Snail. He’s traveling along on a leafy branch with his home on his back, so convenient!
This second Snail Image is called a Lamarck’s Carocolla. His shell looks like it has a pearly sheen to it.
I hope you enjoyed this collection of Vintage Snail Images. You might also like some Natural History Turtles from the same book Here.

I saw that first snail and I knew it’s be perfect crawling up a stand I’m refinishing and then when I saw the second I was like whoa! perfect little guy to wrap around the top to the side crawling down. PERFECT PERFECT for my project.

While I admit I kill slugs in my garden, I must say these are very well done, and they are a part of the natural world and have their place. Just not on my lilies please!!

Karen these are wonderful, thank you – and as I have a grandson who LOVES snails, I will be using these images!
