12 Poppy Images
Today we have a gorgeous collection of Poppy Images! The images featured below are mostly color illustrations of Vintage Florals plus a beautiful black and white Poppy Sketch. That one would be fun to color in. These Clipart Poppies come in the classic Red shade of course, but also you will find Yellow ones, Pink ones and even White. All are beautiful Pictures to use in your Summer or Floral themed Craft or Mixed Media Projects. They would all be good to use for Handmade Cards and Decoupage projects!
Clipart Poppies
This is a set of three charming Botanicals from an 1859 Book! Shown below are various colors of this darling blossom. Aren’t they sweet? They are beautifully created watercolor sketches.
The Red one looks like a classic poppy with long slim green leaves. Such a happy looking flower!
The sunny Yellow one has ruffled edges and a red star shaped element in the middle. The drawing also includes a bud with the red star. So cute!
The White poppy has a blue, yellow, and green center. It also has a bud. What an amazing set of Clipart Poppies.

Yellow Poppy Images
Featured above is a lovely picture of Yellow Poppies! This one has nice soft muted tones. I think these are California Poppies. So pretty.
Black and White Poppy Clipart
Above is a lovely Black and White Botanical engraving from an 1880’s Agricultural Magazine. The engraving is of a pretty Poppy flower and pod! Some of you have told me that you use these types of images as a basis for Watercolor painting. I hope this one will work as well!
Poppy Pictures
This is a Beautiful Vintage Poppy Label Image! Shown here is a lovely deep red Flower that is resting on a little white card. The card has a blank area, which is perfect for adding some text to personalize it! The aged sepia tones are just stunning. This illustration has sort of an endearing, eternal quality to me.
This is a gorgeous floral postcard with an illustration that was painted by Catharina Klein. Such a beauty!
Here we see these beautiful flowers all tied up with string into a gorgeous bouquet. So striking!

Thanks for the poppy pics. They are my favorite flower. The yellow-orange ones aren’t the same as current California poppies. They might be the same plant but an earlier version from that time period before they ended up how.the plant looks now. I have no idea, but it’s possible. In case you don’t know, current California poppies are a darker, red tinged orange, and the petals form a long skinny cup kind of like a cross between a wine glass and a champagne flute.

Good to know! Thanks for the info Chris.
