Well, we have about 6 inches of snow outside right now and we are bracing ourselves for up to 30 inches total! Yikes! This snowy scene postcard represents some wishful thinking on my part. I’m hoping that even with all the snow on the ground right now, that sweet Spring birds and blooming Roses will be right around the corner! I hope you like this old postcard from 1908.

I like that one, it’s pretty! I hear the birds this morning, not sure wether they were crows or magpies though…..we have snow, ice and lots of frost too, but a little blue ski and my blues disappear.

Beautiful postcard!! We are having a snow storm too, we thought we would head out to friends for dinner, pulled out of the drive only to turn around and go back. We are in for the weekend…hoping to get a little studio time in.
Have a great weekend!

Sounds like you’re in the MD, DC, PA area??
18-36 inches!! Yikes. I’ve shoveled three times already. Between 3 and 5 inches each time and it’s still coming down fast!
That’s a pretty postcard!

Hi Karen,
I have been looking for a pretty vintage bird picture to add to my “Brick Cottage” header picture and this one is perfect, thank you. I layered it in my favorite picture editor, Paint Shop Pro. I will be sharing what I can …thanks again!
