French Typography Labels
I have another something special to share with you guys today! Once again, I’m teaming up with Diana from, Diana Dreams Factory for a collaboration post! In fact we will be doing these on a regular basis, so watch for more to come!
Today I’m sharing these fabulous French Typography Labels! Diana pulled together some of my best French Typography Images, and made them Label size! They are all included on one easy to Print Sheet. And that’s not all! Diana has created a gorgeous project to go with it!
The project is a charming Enamel Milk Jug with Distressed and Waterproof Labels! Diana has all the Step by Step instructions on her Blog. You can see the Milk Jug, and get instructions for the Techniques, HERE. Be sure and grab the Printables below before you head over there!

(This transfer is suitable for printing directly on fabric, for decoupage etc.)

As usual we have created two versions, a front facing version and a mirrored version, so that you can download the exact format that you need depending on your project and/or your transfer method.
Make sure you stop by Diana’s Site at Dreams Factory HERE to see the Full Tutorial. It’s such a charming Shabby Style project and it goes beautifully with the Printable above. Stay tuned for more gorgeous Projects and Printables by Diana!

Hello GF friends. I am writing here to save you a lot of hassle if you are going to use waterslide decal paper on your projects to transfer images to the substrate. I bought my paper from Amazon (Blinggasm Waterslide Decal Paper) to transfer images to a bunch of coasters I had painted and distressed. It was a disaster 🙁 I followed the instructions very carefully. But when you soak it in water, it curls up…I can live with that. But once it’s adhered to the surface of your choice, it looks very nice for about an hour. After that, the whole darn thing just detaches itself!!! I had to use glue to glue it back which defeats the purpose of buying an expensive paper like this. The glue also shows through and it’s just not the same as using good quality decal paper (still not sure what brand that will be). I had very hesitantly spent my money on this and am utterly disappointed. Hope this helps.

I am so sorry you had a bad experience with this product Rupa! I spoke to Diana, the creator of this project and here is her recommendation, “The curling part is perfectly normal when putting the decals into water, but they should completely and permanently adhere to the surface, without having to use any type of adhesive. Maybe there was something wrong with the decals or maybe they reacted in some way with the paint used? Did she tried using them on different surfaces and had the same results? If she tried using them on different surfaces and had the same results (if I were her) I would try to send an e-mail to the manufacturer and see what they have to say about this. They might even come with a solution.” I hope that helps 🙂
