Vintage Toast Images
Shown above is a charming Victorian lady holding up a glass of red Wine, in an apparent toast. Her costume is so whimsical looking, almost like a Jester or Clown style. The colors of her outfit are soft pink and blue with lots of tiny pleats on the elaborate sleeves. I love the little red pom poms added to her belt and collar. She’s holding a large feather fan behind her head and her hair is adorned with deep pink roses. She seems quite pleased about whatever it is that she is celebrating!
Here we have the companion picture to the one shown above. In this old photo postcard, we see a front facing view of the same young woman. She has a long green glass Wine bottle in one hand and her glass is raised in the other hand. Such a lovely smile she has. Both of the cards in this series are black and white photographs that were hand tinted with color long ago.
Toast Clip Art
This is the newest addition to this collection. This cute Retro image, shows a man and a woman dressed for a night out on the town! They appear to be toasting each other with their Martini glasses.
Featured above is a swell looking man enjoying a Cocktail. He looks like he’s raising his glass to toast someone! Cheers!

Hi Karen,
I saved the top two images because I thought the outfit this lady was wearing was very different and unique. You have a better view from the front and it’s nice. I love the colours and the style, really – with the pompoms on the sash and the collar. That sure is a long bottle of wine she’s got there. Lol! Thank you for sharing these with us!
Enjoy your weekend and stay safe!

The first three pictures are delightful and I imagine those women being excited to see the final photo result of their modeling efforts. Very chic! The fourth picture strikes me as very odd. Sad to say, the young lady’s head seems a bit too large for her body and as if it could have been pasted on. I wonder what they used instead of photoshop to change pictures back in the day? Wonder if they tried to put it to nefarious use – such as blackmail? Ah, but back in those days, people were honest so no photo shenanigans ever took place. We’re more savvy and, as I immediately took to imagining nefarious practices, more jaded. Luckily, we can look back and imagine innocent times Whole other worlds.
