How to Draw a Gingerbread Man Step 1
Step 1: First, let’s draw the body of the gingerbread man. Start by drawing a circle for the head and continue with sketching the arms raising upward and continue onto the legs. Notice the arms and legs are rounded.
Step 2: Next, draw the outline of his clothing, and hat, by drawing a curved line along the head, arms, and legs.
Step 3: Then, emphasize the gingerbread man’s clothes by sketching a few broken lines along the edges.
Step 4: Now, it’s time to make your cute cookie man more unique by designing the face and adding a small hat on its head. You can copy the face that you see above or get creative and make a different sort of face on him. Just use simple shapes, as it should look like icing, candy or raisins.
Step 5: And, finally, finish your sweet guy by adding additional details to his clothes. Add a little bow tie for under his chin and a some raisin buttons for his shirt. Notice that the buttons are not perfectly shaped. So cute!
The only thing left to do now is to color in your sweet confection! Go grab your markers, Crayola crayons, oil pastels or color pencils, or whatever you have on hand, and finish your artwork masterpiece! This one is colored in with brown dough and white icing and a few touches of red, but you can let your creativity go wild and use whatever colors you like! You get to decide!
