Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room: The Big Reveal!
This is the big reveal for my Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room, with the Gauntlet Gray paint that I selected! I hope you enjoy this tour, I’m really in love with this color and I’m very pleased with how it turned out.
You may recall that I selected Sherwin-Williams Gauntlet Gray for my walls, and I am thrilled with how gorgeous that color looks in this room!
I love how easily the Chip It! tool brought everything together. I was able to pull from both of the inspiration photos to get the exact look I was hoping for. Sherwin-Williams Bee’s Wax color is represented in the natural tones of the sisal rug, and the horse-print frame is a perfect match for Sherwin-Williams (SW) Tricorn Black!
I used lots of white touches (shown as SW Extra White on the palette) to add some lightness and contrast to the gray. This loveseat was previously in my family room, but it really wasn’t the right size for that space so it worked out great moving it in here. I popped in lots of pieces of Ironstone from my collection and I splurged on the white glass lamps, but it was sooo worth it!
The mirrors, end tables, coffee table, horse art and chairs all came from the shop that I recently closed down. Perfect timing on that one!
I was so excited to find these Ikat Pillows that incorporate the SW Heartthrob red and the SW Dragonfruit pink!
I’ve had that long sofa table in my garage for over a year! I may end up painting it to match the coffee table. The print is a family heirloom and I snagged the antique concrete urn at Lucketts. I love displaying old garden pieces inside my home. I still need to fill the urn with something.
This was my first inspiration photo. I chipped it and used Gauntlet Gray for the walls. It’s a funny photo of a Swallow bird with a baby. It had a lot of interesting grays in it though, so I thought it would make a good color palette.
This was my second inspiration photo. I chipped it too and used these colors to pull my accessories together. A big thanks again to Chassity from Look Linger Love for letting me use her dining room photo! I hope you enjoyed this tour of my Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room. Don’t be afraid to try a darker color in your home, I highly recommend that Gauntlet Gray Paint color, I get so many compliments on it.

Oh my Karen what a make over! It is simply gorgeous! I would like to do our master bedroom! I was deciding on two different colors so I have green partly on one wall and a cream on the others. I just kinda stopped and it is driving hubby insane. If not our master I would redo our kitchen. It is sooo dark in here. Thanx for the giveaway!! Enjoy your new space!

I would never have considered these colors, but love your make over room. I’ve got to check out the Chip It site to coordinate some colors to use in a guest bed room. Just switched a multi colored coverlet to that bed & want to move away from white walls. Thanks for the great ideas.
I’m curious, is the coffee table top zinc sheeting & is it a project
you did?
PS I like the taller table in black, it pops that space.

Love this tool. So often I see something that I love the color palette of, and this eliminates all the work and all the guessing. I have used it twice today for a couple of projects I’m working on. I am redecorating my living room starting with the paint right through all the furniture and accesories. This is going to make it so much fun!

awesome giveaway!! Add my name to the pile. I would love to chip it on the paint color of my house. I just can’t think of a color and it’s a little harder to repaint a whole house if you don’t like the color verses lets say a wall or room in your house! For the inside I would chip it in the kitchen and my bedroom. What an awesome tool!
Thank you,
aimee

Your home is stunning. The redo is so polished, and fresh, but very fitting for your home. Lovely!

I love your new living room – you picked a beautiful shade! I would make over my bed room. We never painted when we moved in and the red walls don’t really go with our bedding & art. I’d start with wall color, then draperies, and of course we could use some storage too!

Karen, Your living room turned great! I love the gray wall color accented with the vibrant white and orange. Your photos look right out of a magazine! Thank you so much for the chance at your wonderful giveaway! We are currently looking to buy a house. I’m thinking that all the rooms will need to be painted in almost every room with whatever we buy. I’m most excited about the idea of the kitchen and master bedroom once we buy a house. Thank you,
Jamie

My master bedroom OR the family room are due for an update so either would be great.

Your living room turned out great!!! I have been having a ball with Click It!! I’ve been wanting to re-do my downstairs, and one room is visible into the next so I need plenty of ideas! The kitchen is also in view and I’ve been looking into that too.

My masterbath is in serious need of a “refresh”. I could really put this gift card to good use!
