Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room: The Big Reveal!
This is the big reveal for my Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room, with the Gauntlet Gray paint that I selected! I hope you enjoy this tour, I’m really in love with this color and I’m very pleased with how it turned out.
You may recall that I selected Sherwin-Williams Gauntlet Gray for my walls, and I am thrilled with how gorgeous that color looks in this room!
I love how easily the Chip It! tool brought everything together. I was able to pull from both of the inspiration photos to get the exact look I was hoping for. Sherwin-Williams Bee’s Wax color is represented in the natural tones of the sisal rug, and the horse-print frame is a perfect match for Sherwin-Williams (SW) Tricorn Black!
I used lots of white touches (shown as SW Extra White on the palette) to add some lightness and contrast to the gray. This loveseat was previously in my family room, but it really wasn’t the right size for that space so it worked out great moving it in here. I popped in lots of pieces of Ironstone from my collection and I splurged on the white glass lamps, but it was sooo worth it!
The mirrors, end tables, coffee table, horse art and chairs all came from the shop that I recently closed down. Perfect timing on that one!
I was so excited to find these Ikat Pillows that incorporate the SW Heartthrob red and the SW Dragonfruit pink!
I’ve had that long sofa table in my garage for over a year! I may end up painting it to match the coffee table. The print is a family heirloom and I snagged the antique concrete urn at Lucketts. I love displaying old garden pieces inside my home. I still need to fill the urn with something.
This was my first inspiration photo. I chipped it and used Gauntlet Gray for the walls. It’s a funny photo of a Swallow bird with a baby. It had a lot of interesting grays in it though, so I thought it would make a good color palette.
This was my second inspiration photo. I chipped it too and used these colors to pull my accessories together. A big thanks again to Chassity from Look Linger Love for letting me use her dining room photo! I hope you enjoyed this tour of my Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room. Don’t be afraid to try a darker color in your home, I highly recommend that Gauntlet Gray Paint color, I get so many compliments on it.

I rent, so I can’t really make over any of the rooms, but I’d definitely choose the den. It’s where we spend the most time as a family!

Love the dark paint. I just painted the interior of a one-room cabin a dark chocolate brown. It takes some courage but I like the result. Now I’m in a plain white box apartment. Either the bedroom or living room could use a makeover. Count me in! Thanks.

My bedroom needs painted walls and floor. When we moved in to this 1899 home my husband pulled old wallpaper off the walls and painted walls. The floors had been painted black around the rugs that were already here —my husband took a machine to the floors and made them into something beautiful, well except our room which we just covered most of the floor with a 15 ft. square rug.It is all beautiful even if we never are able to redo our room. And then the kitchen needs a countertop. I think they used cardboard and painted it with a clear paint or something not sure. I think this would be a great way to spend if I won it. Thanks for giving us a chance.

I am 54 years old, married 33 years and my husband and I have never taken the opportunity to create a master bedroom for ourselves. The room would make you cry. Off white walls, no art, off white bedding and a piece of furniture from each of 5 different decades. To say it needs a makeover is an understatement, in needs a LIFE!

Great makeover. The grey is stunning! I will be painting my daughter’s bedroom this fall. We will be picking out a blue to match a new bedspread. The Chip It tool will make picking out a color much easier. I’ve painted with blues before but often I love the color on the paint chip but hate it once it’s on the wall.

Those are the colors I’d love to use in my husbands Man Cave, with an accent of orange instead of red. Fabulous inspiration!

I would re-make my mother’s bedroom. Nearly every room in our home has had some kind of remodeling done (a lot of it was unplanned due to things we were not told when moving in). She’s spent so much time and money making sure the rest of the house is suitable for visitors, but always keeps her door shut so no one can see in. I’d love to help make a bedroom that she can hang out in and enjoy, and leave the door open!

Gorgeous room makeover, I would love to makeover our family room. My son and grandson will be needing a place for quality time together as grandson will be living fulltime with. dad. the room has been a catch all of items and mismatched furniture. i would love to redo it into a serene space
