Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room: The Big Reveal!
This is the big reveal for my Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room, with the Gauntlet Gray paint that I selected! I hope you enjoy this tour, I’m really in love with this color and I’m very pleased with how it turned out.
You may recall that I selected Sherwin-Williams Gauntlet Gray for my walls, and I am thrilled with how gorgeous that color looks in this room!
I love how easily the Chip It! tool brought everything together. I was able to pull from both of the inspiration photos to get the exact look I was hoping for. Sherwin-Williams Bee’s Wax color is represented in the natural tones of the sisal rug, and the horse-print frame is a perfect match for Sherwin-Williams (SW) Tricorn Black!
I used lots of white touches (shown as SW Extra White on the palette) to add some lightness and contrast to the gray. This loveseat was previously in my family room, but it really wasn’t the right size for that space so it worked out great moving it in here. I popped in lots of pieces of Ironstone from my collection and I splurged on the white glass lamps, but it was sooo worth it!
The mirrors, end tables, coffee table, horse art and chairs all came from the shop that I recently closed down. Perfect timing on that one!
I was so excited to find these Ikat Pillows that incorporate the SW Heartthrob red and the SW Dragonfruit pink!
I’ve had that long sofa table in my garage for over a year! I may end up painting it to match the coffee table. The print is a family heirloom and I snagged the antique concrete urn at Lucketts. I love displaying old garden pieces inside my home. I still need to fill the urn with something.
This was my first inspiration photo. I chipped it and used Gauntlet Gray for the walls. It’s a funny photo of a Swallow bird with a baby. It had a lot of interesting grays in it though, so I thought it would make a good color palette.
This was my second inspiration photo. I chipped it too and used these colors to pull my accessories together. A big thanks again to Chassity from Look Linger Love for letting me use her dining room photo! I hope you enjoyed this tour of my Sherwin Williams Gray Living Room. Don’t be afraid to try a darker color in your home, I highly recommend that Gauntlet Gray Paint color, I get so many compliments on it.

I LOVE the SW combo of gray and white—with pops of coral/orange—shows what paint can do!!! My guest bedroom needs a total makeover to turn into a nursery for my grandchildren and I need HELP—it’s small so feel free to add the bathroom!

I would love to redo my living room. We’ve lived here 12 years and it needs to be decorated! The ugly gray wallpaper from the previous owners is still up and needs to go! toniflower3 at yahoo dot com

I love how your living room turned out! Congrats. Funny enough, we just repainted our living room, bathroom and kitchen. So I’m feeling rather blessed too. If there was another room I would choose to repaint and style, it would be my sewing studio. My poor sewing studio has paint chipped off the walls, scars, missing drop ceiling tiles, and holes in the wall. I spend hours of my day in this room, as sewing is my business. So far, I’ve covered the wall scars with quilts and art from my children and husband. But it sure would be nice to showcase that art in more appropriate places on the walls!

Gauntlet Gray is a great color! I love the way it looks with the white couch. I would definitely paint a room in my home that color. Very unique.

Beautiful room! I would redo the kitchen. It is a blue right now and I think we need a lighter color.

My front “formal” living room needs a MAJOR makeover. Right now it is def. not so “formal” which is fine but it has to have a rhyme and reason. Right now it has our two old couches and kids toys. Nothing Matches. Hate it. Would love it if I could win!! Thanks for the opportunity!!

I’d love to do over my powder room, and I’ve already used Chip It to find my color palette.
